Leafs appeal - goes to 4. - dozerD10
I'm thinking 6. Leafs appeal, gets rejected just like Andersson and Perron's got rejected. |

Our opinions do not really matter, we are fans, so logic is not relevant. Your opinion matters much less. Your input is scarcely above the value of what Spatso spews here. - winsix
Everyone is equal. Opinions are only important to stimulate dialogue for those of us who are passionate about hockey.
But, it would be wrong for me not to acknowledge that I really am pleased to watch a Leafs/Sens games that triggers strong emotions on both sides. I have missed the mutual animosity. Indifference is not good for sports rivalries.
Before the game last night Ridley had already become a favourite for many Sens supporters. I think he gained a lot more fans from last night's effort and result.
The kid plays with a chip on his shoulder, he is highly skilled and has a really solid defensive game. He will get a lot better.

5 or 6. Perron’s hit was more violent/forceful. Neither have reps as dirty players but neither hit was part of a hockey play - they did bad poop after the play was over. |

Nobody said let's hear that Florida guy's take on the Rielly nonsense, but here we go anyway...
Good.
I watched the hit. Much ado about nothing. I didn't watch it live, and I first heard the butthurt about it. I expected worse. I watched it and I was like - "That's it?".
Good.
Mofo will think twice before hotdogging it in the Leafs end again.
I like seeing a little emotion from players. Rielly had a bad taste in his mouth about that game and that's a good thing. I just hope he keeps that in check when the playoffs roll around. We don't need him going all Kadri on people. |

Rielly's was with 3 seconds left in the game which might make for an excuse to give him more.

It is nice to experience some passion involving a Leaf/Sens game. |

It wasn't that bad. But it will also make Greig think twice?
Isn't that a contradiction?

Not good, really stupid selfish play. Should have started a fight, maybe gets him one game. Better yet a damaging cross-check to the guts.

Just shows how dominant his teams have been to have so many leads by the end of the game! |

I'm guessing Rielly gets 4 to 5 games. He's been a solid citizen in the NHL and the hot dog play will be a factor. Probably will give Rielly a good rest for the stretch drive. He's playing insane minutes and would be burned out at the end of the season at his current pace. Maybe it will finally force Treliving to make that long anticipated trade for a defenseman. The core malcontents better up their game after Rielly took one for the team. If Marner and Nylander don't up their game, it's time to cut bait with them. |

If they give him more than a game, this league and Parros are a (frank)ing joke...oh...right...ya you're prediction will come true. |
