That's a busted clavicle or separated shoulder! She should have went with the personal trainer if she's that dumb.

Ryan Reaves, on the Ridly Greig empty-net slapshot: "If you rewind to when I came into the league he's probably still laying on the ice. I thought (Morgan Rielly's response) was appropriate. I don't see how a kid that young thinks it's appropriate to do something like that."

- stinger67

How soft and fragile are the Leafs over a guy taking a slapshot into an empty net and everyone on their team losing their poop about it and saying Reilly was justified? Maybe if the Leafs back checked harder and were better defensively, Greig would not have had 20 minutes to wind up and take a slap shot.

Leafs are a bunch of whiny female doges trying to justify their own frustration over their own crappy play by placing it onto someone else.

The coach condoning Reilly's actions wasn't a good look either. Blaming it on the emotional side of the game.

I laughed out loud when i seen that kid take that slapper into the empty net!!

We used that machine in crossfit to do GHD situps, stardard is your hands must touch the ground above your head and then your feet. Pretty much the most brutal abs exercise you can do. I've seen people who weren't used to it end up in the hospital with rhabdomyolysis.

I remember my first time doing a 100, for the next week coughing or laughing would make my eyes water from the pain.

Jesus!! That sounds brutal!!

I wouldn't be able to do those. I was born with an abdominal hernia right in the middle of my abs. The surgeon refuse to operate on it when i was younger because i still had a physical job and playing hockey (goalie)......so the mesh would have kept ripping and i'd left weaker and compromised.

I might go back and get it checked out now that i'm and lazy.

30 years of baseball, my shoulder structure is (frank)ed, my arms is constantly in pain. Orthopedic surgeon says its the best way to get rid of it for good. There two biceps, one would not work but the shorter one would compensate.

Are they soft because they don't push back, or

Are they soft because they push back?

I'm not a leaf fan, but you're a leaf hater, so I'm sure you would have been having a field day either way. Oh, and they pulled the goalie with the objective of scoring, so back checking wasn't necessarily a must there.

I really don't care about the Leafs, one way or another.

But if the team, collectively, is going to lose their poop over some random guy taking a 10 foot slapshot into their net, giving kudos to Reilly for cross-checking him to the head, saying it was deserved, and now whining the NHL will unfairly punish him (more harshly) because he is a Toronto player - that is the signs of a fragile and mentally weak team.

As for back checking... at least (frank)ing try, or make it look like you are trying, rather than following him down the ice by gliding... no effort play by the Leafs.

They should be mad with themselves, more than anything.

No not at all. Frequently, the talk is how the leafs lay down and take everything. When they don't, it's an issue? In terms of the punishment, many including Friedman have said more than 4 is absurd and his sources are shocked that it was in-person.

Also, this was the end end of a 3 minute shift, we could say make it look like you're trying, but it's tougher when gassed
