Debating now after for sure, glad for it.
But to be the complainer why only 10/12? Why not list all the prospects? Seems arbitrary and non-inclusive. Doubtful everyone on your list will play so why list them at all?
However, age does matter. How many people are ranking 26, 28, 30 year old prospects? He put a line where he wanted. - NewYorkNuck
I think that is the point we were driving home. Most lists are useless including my list of 10 players
Realistically after about six top prospects the list and most lists are useless, when it comes to prospects. When someone does want to go that deep on a list it should at least have the correct players. |

He is not a power forward. He is nothing like or as big as a Bertuzzi or Mark Stone. He is not a fighter. He is more of a Swiss army knife. He does most things well and no things great. - VANTEL
Neither is Miller but he's considered a power forward, there's no Neely/Tocchet/Bertuzzi type power forwards any more because of all the rule changes neutering what they used to be able to do and do well. |

That's what everyone who can't play it says, which is 99% of the population. |

From all reports I am reading, Mynio is looking like a nice prospect. - Reubenkincade
He is doing well but a longshot.
I think the drafting has been good as of late but like PA said a while ago, there are other ways to build your team outside of drafting.

I am very good at tiddly-winks, great sport, that less than 1% of the population is any good at. |

I would not expect Podz to bring the same results as JTM Neely or Tocchet.
I think the best way to describe him is he does a little of everything. If you expect him to be great at one thing then you are probably going to be disappointed.

The great Jim Benning also tried that method. |

I would guess less than 1% of the population knows what that is, except maybe the Povo's. |

I am hoping he ends up as a nice complementary player. Expecting all draft picks to be shiny is crazy stupid, like Lefty. |

Y'all sound so butthurt that someone took their time to write out a list of prospects and give their reasoning but put an age limit for themselves because they have parameters. Jesus - NewYorkNuck
I'm not 'butthurt', I was responding to your initial comment about people getting 'upset' about an article.
My point was, if it has narrow parameters people are going to question it.

Catherine Michelle Granato - Pacificgem
Granato has very little to do with drafting. She was brought in to shut up Ray. Get the facts right.
I was one of the least vocal but admit I couldn't care less about the pick. I didn't see much of a future with him. We can't all be spot on with our drafting assessments like you smart people (Jake Virtanen)
I in fact try to offer little input on drafting, because I do not follow it. I do know I liked Tkachuk over Juolevi. I leave drafting to the real people like PA (Not Cammi).

I don't know about that. He seems like the biggest Canucks slurpper from what I had seen so far this year, but then again I haven't listened to a Fararro in years.

Everyone's singing their praises this year, except Bloated, not much has gone wrong for them. |

Their regular season has been very consistent including the bounce back games and avoiding a long losing streak (so far). Tocchet has them accountable and playing 200' Hockey for the most part.
There are some concerns around this club for PO's (for me and I'm sure a few others) but like anything we will see where they land. Been a very fun ride so far.

I expected much more from him since the draft. That whole draft is lacking so far. I expect in the next couple years that a bunch of those players start to hit. Podkolzin is 22nd in scoring in that draft with 33 points. Insane |

Lekkerimaki's team really kind of sucks. Tied for lowest scoring team in the league.
Imagine what he could do with a decent center and some half decent D. |
