To constantly talk about Morgan Frost just camouflages the main issue; the Flyers inability to draft-develop- identify talent.
The fact he may be the best they have over whatever amount of years is downright sad. At least at the center spot and maybe overall. |

I hate this being chucked out like this. Taken out of context for sure. The point being made is that many on here judge Frost simply by his point output. If he is doing everything he can, and sets the puck up beautifully for his linemate, and his linemate fails to connect, the nay sayers are saying see..Frost sucks, he doesn't score enough. But if even 1 in 3 of those chances he sets up gets scored, Frost would have another 8-10 points this year. Frost as still done his job, carried the puck, and fed the other forwards. They fail at their job, and Frost is judged because of it. - TheFreak
That's what the numbers are for. You can look at the numbers and see the volume of scoring chanced and high danger chances that are being produced on the ice when Frost is on the ice. Can look at expected goals and see the quality. That tells you that plays are happening on the ice when he is out there. Not to mention the defensive results. This has been the case this year and last. So why was he scratched a dozen games? That's all anyone is saying. That doesn't mean that he is immune from criticism or doesn't have to improve and produce more consistently. |

First, just a minor but important correction, Frost has 25 points in 42 games, not the other way around.
Good point about TK being hurt last season, because you are right, 5v5 TK is the best scorer on this team, last year and this year. Also, this season TK is 3rd on the team in XGF%, Frost is 11th, TK is 2nd on the team in CF%, Frost is 10th. TK averages 14 minutes 5v5 per game, while Frost averages 12 minutes 5v5. - jd250
Nobody disputes that Konecny is the team's best offensive forward.
Now, as for the other things you wrote:
* Frost is third on the team (among qualifying players who've played at least 50 minutes) in 5-on-5 XGF%. Konecny is 5th. Source: https://naturalstattrick....ines=single&draftteam=ALL
* Frost is 9th in CF% at 5-on-5. But still 51.67 percent. Not a negative issue.
* Farabee leads the club in points-per-60 (2.83) with Frost 6th (1.85). Since the start of January, there's Tippett (3.17) and then there's everyone else. Frost (2.08) in the group of average averaging north of 2 points per 60 in that span. This, too, is at 5-on-5. When all situations are weighed, Frost is third at 2.88 and leads the team with five PP points despite mostly being on PP2. |

Does anyone know of any blogs where the people talk about the same thing daily...I mean same exact thing over and over and over, same arguments, same stats, just same everything?

Not misleading, it is the truth. The numbers don't lie.
No one is saying Frost is better than TK, the excuse was thrown out there that the only reason Frost was the leading scorer over the last 3/4 of last year was because TK was injured. It had nothing to do with Frost stepping up to the plate and delivering. Numbers have been provided to show it was not a big gap between TK and Frost, but nowhere have I seen anyone saying Frost is better than TK. - TheFreak
Okay, remind me again. From what game and on this season did Morgan Frost become the team’s leading scorer? |

TK isn't legit? - 2Real
TK is legit but I don't feel like other teams take runs at him. He usually stirs stuff up. |

If he pulls a Patrick Sharp you will hear about it even more.... - mr4tno He will NEVER be Patrick Sharp. I'd take that to any bank and lay some serious money down on it. |

Please read what has been stated. I have not said the Frost is the leading scorer this year. The excuse was thrown out there that the only reason Frost finished last year as he did was because of TK's injury. He stepped up, and played better than every other player still playing down the stretch last year. I, at least, am not stating he is better than TK.
But his play last year does validate him as an NHLer that should be getting regular ice time. Since playing regularly this year, he has again produced.
From the author of this blog in todays blog:
Ever since requesting a one-one-one meeting with head coach John Tortorella and advocating for himself after being scratched for the 11th time this season, Morgan Frost has taken his offensive game to another level. Since that time, Frost had led the team in scoring with 12 points (2g, 10a) over the last 13 games. He's used his feet effectively and shown both his ice vision and passing prowess on a more consistent basis.

See I can’t do that. I can’t apologize for a player so much that I look for the exact moment he became the lead scorer of the team. I look at from game 1 to now.
Anyone know who the even strength lead scorer of the last 25 games is? |

That doesn't matter. I want to know who leads the team in scoring while they are sick. I mean if you can score when you have diarrhea then that's a real player.

Great point! What about the guy with a hangnail. Check every players’ fingers before each game. |

All that wasted female doging about Deslauriers being on the 3rd line.

Wide open game, but not a good wide, but very sloppy on both sides. Flyers are not a skilled team, but this is a game they need to take over. |
