I don't blindly accept anything. Except that we have players that can adapt or improve from where we are.
Other than that, it seems to me that many here blindly accept that we are the only team that isn't perfect and has fallible human beings on the roster. Everything you described above are things that every team works through. Only difference is that many other teams wouldn't have won every one of those games.
I don't need us to be perfect or have zero holes on paper. Just need honest effort every game from our really good roster. I feel like I've seen that in 95+% of our games this season.
Edit:
there is NO anger in my statements, please don't read them as being that way. - Tonybere
Right now, as is, we need 2 players. A top 6 RW and a 3C, some added depth would be nice, but those 2 are needed. |

I think it’s safe to say, Kakko won’t be traded, nor will the Perraults, the Othmanns, the Cuylles, the Schneiders, etc. That leaves the firsts and any picks, Sykora and Berard as the potential pieces moved imo. Idk about Garand or his value, but you could probably toss him in that group too and most of the other prospects we have |

First Bonino now Pitlick on waivers…Drurys off-season moves not looking so great. He better not mess up the trade deadline |

I think if wheeler gets waived that would more of a signal. Pitlick and Edstrom offset pretty much. I think Big Tall Ed is here to stay tho
But I’m about done waiting for a trade |

It probably was the plan all along. Just get to February and March with a couple of hasbeens and then make improvements
Only way to go is up from them two that’s for sure lol |

Gotta remember, theyre calling people up as well, so the money cancels out. However, Pitlick is on a one-way deal, so they do gain a bit of flexibility if Pitlick isnt in the plans for the rest of the year. |

But these call-up do not require waivers in any way. You also don't go waiving vets during the later part of the season and replace with rookies...unless you are tanking. |

Not really at all. You complete your top-six and then worry about botton six. Slot Vesey at 3RW for the time being...or Othman |

I’ve kept it quiet but I think if they’re trading Kakko it would be in a trade for Mittlestadt. Buffalo apparently wants to trade him but for a now young player (this isn’t my opinion, Pagnotta said it). Not that trade specifically, but that he thinks they trade Mittlestadt. He said it yesterday. I don’t think they trade Kakko tho (my final decision lol), BUT if they did I think that’s who they’d get |

Maybe, but he’s playing RW now isn’t he? I don’t think it’s too far fetched. Unlikely, yea |

Mittelstadt is going to cost a hefty price and he has no trade restrictions. Im sure most teams interested will not trade for him unless he resigns, which is a whole different problem for many teams. Even with the cap going up, there have been a lot of friendly deals getting handed out that expire this year. This kid is probably gonna get like 7m per. |

Oh no he is very much a center. 767 faceoffs taken this year, 47.7% on the draw. Not too bad, could be better with some help from Peca. |

That seems a bit high but maybe. Maybe 2 years 5 mill and then see. Idk if a team could commit that much to him just yet. He’s definitely gotten a lot better tho |

Hes 25, likely going into the final year of RFA... so if you give him only a 2 year deal its risky. |

Oh ok yea he is definitely a center. He could go to the Avs if that’s what he gets
Did you see the Crosby to Avs rumor? Lol. I think Calum Ritchie is his name? and a few other large pieces going to pens. It was one of those fly by night sites |
