I know it's an absolutely nothing move - but straight up - why in God's name did they keep Wes Parsons on the 40 man roster and DFA Lopez who is only 25 and has shown flashes of usefulness . . .

Parsons is on the cusp of 32 has thrown 44 career innings, allowed 82 runners over that time and given up 37 runs. What value does that guy have on an MLB roster? Is he also the mascot?
