I would say that it is you that will be schooled, but then again, one has to be open to learning for one to be "schooled". - jd250
Just like previous deadlines? Do I have to bring up how ridiculously wrong you were with the entire Giroux situation? How you claimed when the deal was made that Fletcher got fleeced and how Tippett was not a good return because he couldn't stick in the Florida lineup? There is literally years of public record that details your complete inability to learn.

Pens, man when the league made their schedule, they had to have their age in mind, Pens are well rested for the stretch run. |

Don’t think rest is the solution there. They stink. |

It doesn't seem like any team below the Flyers wants to play with any consistency. The Flyers are 5-5 in their last 10 games and have widened the gap from the teams below them. I think the point is that some of that is simply more games played. The Pens could go on a little run and make up ground having played 5 less games than the Flyers. They haven't shown that they can do that though. Same with the Devils.

For real, how the hell haven’t the Pens or Devils really taken over (with the games I hand notwithstanding)

You have failed to prove that daily and that frustrates you, which is why you responded as you did. I'm not hard to find, |

Just off the pens would have a schedule like they do, assume the rest and practice has been to their advantage. |

If you’re a pens fan you’re probably saying the schedule is a liability since they’ll be tired if they do squeak into the playoffs. Grass is always greener. |

Scott Laughton just on TSN radio...giving Torts full props as to the reason they are playing so well. Thought I would throw that out there for the Torts haters. Also mentioned having players like ND, Seeler, and Hathaway are invaluable.. Tight group and hopes they can make a run together. I honestly hope they don't move him...unless it is a total fleece job |

hockey players not the brightest. what do you really expect him to say about ND or what not?
would he rather have ND or a guy who can play 15 minutes a night and score? |

you sound just like the gm and coach/gm, meaning they don't want to trade anyone unless a dope GM comes along. No team is gonna overpay. That being said no reason not to get a good deal. Also goes back to what "jonesy" said, we want to be fair and both teams win a deal or something to that effect. Laughable.
in bold is the short term vision that kills this franchise year after year - hello it's me 2050

It’s hard to argue with the results Torts is getting…try as some do. The physical guys add an element that helps teams win. In the case of ND, he simply needs to play better. You can’t put him on the ice if he’s a liability regardless of the other things he brings. He seems to be struggling with the speed of the game, something I didn’t see earlier this year. No, he’s never going to be a great burner, but it’s become pretty noticeable that he’s hurting more than helping.
It depends on the offer with Laughton. I’m fine if he stays because all they get is a 2nd rnd pick in this draft….that appears to be weak after the top 20 or so. |
