It doesn't seem like any team below the Flyers wants to play with any consistency. The Flyers are 5-5 in their last 10 games and have widened the gap from the teams below them. I think the point is that some of that is simply more games played. The Pens could go on a little run and make up ground having played 5 less games than the Flyers. They haven't shown that they can do that though. Same with the Devils.

Also mentioned having players like ND, Seeler, and Hathaway are invaluable.. Tight group and hopes they can make a run together. I honestly hope they don't move him...unless it is a total fleece job

you sound just like the gm and coach/gm, meaning they don't want to trade anyone unless a dope GM comes along. No team is gonna overpay. That being said no reason not to get a good deal. Also goes back to what "jonesy" said, we want to be fair and both teams win a deal or something to that effect. Laughable.

It’s hard to argue with the results Torts is getting…try as some do. The physical guys add an element that helps teams win. In the case of ND, he simply needs to play better. You can’t put him on the ice if he’s a liability regardless of the other things he brings. He seems to be struggling with the speed of the game, something I didn’t see earlier this year. No, he’s never going to be a great burner, but it’s become pretty noticeable that he’s hurting more than helping.

It depends on the offer with Laughton. I’m fine if he stays because all they get is a 2nd rnd pick in this draft….that appears to be weak after the top 20 or so.
