It’s hard to argue with the results Torts is getting…try as some do. The physical guys add an element that helps teams win. In the case of ND, he simply needs to play better. You can’t put him on the ice if he’s a liability regardless of the other things he brings. He seems to be struggling with the speed of the game, something I didn’t see earlier this year. No, he’s never going to be a great burner, but it’s become pretty noticeable that he’s hurting more than helping.
It depends on the offer with Laughton. I’m fine if he stays because all they get is a 2nd rnd pick in this draft….that appears to be weak after the top 20 or so. - landros 2
GH and ND do not help the team win. ND can't play better. |

hockey players not the brightest. what do you really expect him to say about ND or what not?
would he rather have ND or a guy who can play 15 minutes a night and score? - hello it's me 2050
Can't have 12 forwards playing 15 minutes a night...is there a team in the league or ever that has had that?

Just repeating what he said. He wasn't asked specifically about those players, he brought them up. Just a tight group. I am sure everyone can see having ND on the ice is like being short-handed. I have no problem with players like GH and Seeler on this team.

I'm with you with Deslauriers, but Hathaway is a good player and I would love him in my bottom 6 any time. |

I don’t see much difference between Ivan Laperriere the player and Garnett Hathaway. I’m not not saying they’re clones or anything but I’m not sure what one expects from a 4th line player. Hathaway hits, agitates and kills penalties (which by the PK is good this season).
Hathaway no score. Hathaway no good. |

Scott Laughton just on TSN radio...giving Torts full props as to the reason they are playing so well. Thought I would throw that out there for the Torts haters. Also mentioned having players like ND, Seeler, and Hathaway are invaluable.. Tight group and hopes they can make a run together. I honestly hope they don't move him...unless it is a total fleece job - 3flyerkids
This is what people on this forum that have never been on a real hockey team and played the game don't understand. Not everyone on a team can be Connor McDavid. You need role players that do some heavy lifting and difficult jobs. Now I think Deslauriers is a liability at this point on the ice, but anyone watching can see the value Seeler and Hathaway provide each and every game. And I will say it again, Torts is by far doing the best coaching job in the league this year. |

ND is not an NHL caliber player. |

I read earlier this season Hathaway has been disappointing because his point production is down as a 4th liner. Okay, so if Frost plays with Nick D, Nick D is hurting him. There is absolutely no excuse though for Hathaway to put up his average 19 points as an aging forward? |

ND should really never play again. It is a disgrace on the coach to put him out there. |

Seeler is the league leading shot blocker, on one of the top PK’s in the league, while averaging 17 minutes a game. Pretty for a guy who should be the 6th D on this team. |

I mean isn't the writing on the wall. He has been getting scratched. I wonder if they look to move him. You know someone going into the playoffs would love to add him. Seems like there is a team every year looking for toughness. |

Seeler has been good this year…he was good for the most part last year. Him and Walker have been their most consistent pair all year. It all starts on the back end. If you can get that type of play your goaltending looks better, your structure looks better and your forwards can thrive. |

You just posted that GH does not help the Flyers win. If you really believe that, what value do you think he has? Oh, and I played varsity BTW. |
