If the Flyers trade walker at the TDL, do you think that effects the team negatively heading into the playoffs?
He's arguably been our most effective and moat steady defenseman this season....

Also, top 4, rock solid Dmen don't grow on tres... he's got to be worth a first to consider moving him, especially in a weak draft.

DB has some tough decisions to make

- Bob Habib

It's really an easy decision in my opinion.

If they take Risto off our hands and pay 70-80%, the flyers should also pay for his plane ticket and moving expenses and laugh all the way to the airport
- THE BLACK HAND

Ristolainen is headed towards what he was always destined to be. A rapidly deteriorating asset that the Flyers ridiculously overpaid for that is a complete liability and a drain on the salary cap. A potential future buyout candidate. Flyers have to Flyer.

Add in guy like Oleksiak, Greer, Lemieux,Maroon, McCarron, Jeannot, Xhekaj, Lomberg whom have that skill set but have found a niche and been able to carve out a more meaningful role by getting the chance.

A lot of these guys were scorers or at least decent producers coming up but found that that success in lower levels didn’t necessarily mean it would translate. They found other ways to play in this league.

Nic Deslauriers is completely useless and has no on ice value. He should not be in the NHL. I don't care what his teammates think of him as a person. He simply can't play.

Where does the value show up? How can you prove the value? What can you provide that shows that anything Hathaway does offsets that when he is on the ice. The other team scores 72.41% of the goals?
- MJL

ND only hurts Frost’s production. Playing with ND literally all season long couldn’t possibly hurt Hathaway. Last I checked though, Hathaway is on the second best rated PK in the league.

I am holding out hope Aube-Kubel gets waived for the 10th time in his young career so we can pick him back up. After all he’s on the cheap.

I would steer clear of Zegras. He is still young so maybe he can mature, but there are warning signs and personally I prefer to stay clear of players with warning signs around their character and work ethic.

I agree….as well ND has a short list in comparison to the amount of guys that are willing to fight him.
- landros 2

People sometimes will say “oh if he’s protecting flyers why didn’t he fight here or here…” when someone like Hathaway or Seeler take a big hit. Those guys can hold their own, he’s not going to fight for them. now if Frost got plastered you know ND would be right there.

But yeah even the coach has come to earth with him and started scratching him. My biggest complaint with ND is that god-awful skating stride

Tip of the iceberg to what? There is a public record. You are reverting further and further into rhetoric and hyperbole. I would say that it is further deteriorating your credibility, but that's not possible. I couldn't get any lower.

You're completely wrong. When given the opportunity and ice time, Frost has produced. He has done nothing but steadily improve. Tortorella tried to bury Frost and get rid of him. Frost persevered through that ridiculously bad coaching. The only thing that has stopped this kid is bad coaching.

The first slump he has offensively, you'll be right back to criticizing him.

- MJL

According to the players themselves, Torts is the reason they are playing so well. Even with the lack of elite talent on the roster.

The first 4-5 game skid the team has you’ll be right here criticizing him.

See how that works?

the 2nd group are real nhl players, most anyway and do not belong in the same breath as ND.

with the exception of martin who is and always has been much better than ND, the rest are fringe nhl players.

so 32 nhl teams. 23 man roster. 736 players. you name less than a dozen. as I said ND is fn useless.

maybe the flyers can claim zac mac on waivers.

Yes most are fringe… so ? I could name more… I don’t have all fukin day…lol..but you know these guys as well as I do. The current version of ND is not worthy of a lineup spot… no argument here.
And Matt Martin was putrid… but he worked hard on his game and got to a point where he deserves his spot..

Fletcher shouldn't be running a Wendy's, let alone an NHL team. I wonder who will hire him next?
