KC has a much better arena. - Pacificgem
Do they have an owner though? Haven't heard of anyone seriously interested out of KC |

Rick Tocchet on Phil Kessel: He’s going to have to go down to Abbotsford for a while and see where he’s at. He’s been out for about 10 months. He’s got a great pedigree. It’s just a look. We’ll see what transpires. #Canucks

I was thinking Boris Katchouk.
Maybe Brandon Duhaime or Sammy Blais if DJ is out long term. |

I am going to guess that they are still in on Risto despite injury.
When IMAC said in the last intermission Canucks want a big D and some insiders said the Canucks were looking into Risto left me believing they are still on it but now the price will be cheaper. |

Interesting considering management said they are satisfied with their D. At most it will be a depth 7/8 addition I think.

I heard the exact opposite that Canucks have no interest in Risto. |

I heard some speculation but it's contradicted by comments coming from management. Plus it makes no sense logically.

Dhaliwal: “I was told the Canucks have zero interest in Ristolainen, there’s nothing there, they never checked in on him. How can the Canucks be in on a guy with that much term and money? Ask yourself”. |

It would make no sense unless they are shipping out a guy with just a little less term and a little less money. Maybe some player that has been recently demoted to the fourth line? |

Would be a terrible move to get a declining player that was never that good. Negligent. |

It started from the guy who Torts doesn't talk too.
When brought up to someone, RD was asked if he was on the cheek and Chong stuff.
There is a rumour by a Philly reporter that they are willing to retain 25% and want a 1st round pick back because of it.
To me that's insane even with Risto having his career best year at 29 years old. |

You said yesterday that is why they are GMs and we are fans. If you can get a big guy like him and change his game to play more of a stay at home guy, who can be physical with Foote coaching him, you weigh the options.
The difference between Mikheyev's cap hit and Risto is 400 K and one extra year.
Look what Foote has done with Juulsen and even Myers.
