Aside from a glass at decent restaurant that complimented the meal, I was never much of a fan. I stopped drinking more than an occasional glass once I hit puberty and my balls dropped.

I like my comments to be instantaneous, corrupted by chemical-induced emotion and deep-seated suspicion from watching season upon season of canuck mediocrity and self-inflicted failure.

I'm a bit surprised the Oil beat the Stars. I honestly thought the Oil's win streak was a result of a really soft schedule. That coaching change really made a huge difference.

I know we are more than 25 games away from end of season, but now I start paying attention to other teams efforts. I'm trying to get a handle on potential playoff opponents. How teams react to big, important games tells me something about how they might perform during the playoffs when the stakes are highest.
