I'll never forgive Botts for Montour and Hagel. - QuinnFan
2 epic failures. Montour was grossly mismanaged here. Complete joke. He was a stud in the playoffs for Anaheim. Would be a perfect middle guy with Power |

The "Could Have Been Roster" is getting stronger. We really screwed the pooch throughout this rebuild, from acquiring bad players, to letting good ones walk. Rough. |

As a rookie?
The crying over Montour is insane. Guy's had one season where he looked unbelievable. He's already regressed back to what he was in his other 9 seasons. |

I understand the desire, but how long does management continue to chase the magic of last season from the top line before realizing that last season may have been an anomaly that will not be repeated? - kingcong39
Quite possibly until the end of their contracts.

Huberdeau wasnât âdecliningâ when the trade was made. And Tkachuk was only available because he wasnât going to re-sign with Calgary, they had to trade him. That situation is pretty much a one off, and doesnât really seem comparable to Skinnerâs situation. - Ratsreign
He is a moron who constantly lies, he is a pathological liar.
He makes things up and presents them as facts and constantly gets proven wrong and he is completely incapable of understanding because he is also a compulsive liar, too so he never knows which lies are his facts and which lies are the lies he doesnât even realize he tells.

Is coaching holding back that top line?
Is Donnie not playing them together all season the reason the first line looks so flat?
Is it that all 3, tage, tuch and skinner all had some sort of injuries this season ?
Really canât figure out tage, maybe heâs putting too much pressure on himself |

We know Tage is dealing with multiple injuries. Lately you can start to see him driving the net and doing Tage things again.
I can't pin that one on coaching. Cong mentioned what I was driving towards: last year was a career year and maybe these guys don't really fit together that well. Tage has a great shot and you'd never call Skinner or Tuch setup guys. |

Not at the time of the trade. He also played on an absolutely stacked team in Florida. Then they traded him to a Calgary team that was crumbling at the seams.
Heâs stays in Florida, heâs putting up a .ppg pace still and if he hit FA, he would have taken a discount to play for a contender and looked fine. |

Thatâs a pretty good point with cong and then not really fitting well.
Last season just seamed so magical.
Especially tage and tuch
Donnie has tried to break up the line, maybe Krebs and his 3 goals should get a chance to feed tage some one timers ?
Benson still has more hustle then most of this team |

So would you trade Jordan Greenway ? Guess Vegas has there eye on him and a Dman. - Buff36
Trading Greenway is an easy yes. Is he worth 2nd's or more at this point...what is the return?
Adams traded away:
- 2023 2nd round pick (VGK - #64 - Riley Heidt) - who has 100+ points in 56 games in the WHL this season
- 2024 5th round pick (BUF)
Vegas is not going to move a roster player as they are going for back to back runs, why are the Sabres still moving roster players for futures when they already have a back log of futures?
Trade Greenway, trade more of the roster, that is needed. Futures/prospects or more project players should be off the table for any trade to be completed.

the even strength production from skinner, tage and tuch is down roughly 50 percent from last year
their shooting percentage as a whole is also down probably close to 35 percent from last year |

To our most loyal members, As one of our most valued fans and a pivotal member of our Sabres family, Kevyn and I want to take this opportunity to write to you directly. This season has proven frustrating for us and we know it
has for you as well. Simply put, we are not where we want to be on the ice. A universal truth is that success is seldom linear. While we are not where we thought we would be at this point of the year, we also know that our goals and vision for the future are unchanged and we remain steadfast in our belief that this team will turn things around for Sabres hockey. Like you, we live and breathe Sabres hockey and are determined to build a playoff team. We both have been in your shoes as fans of this franchise and want nothing more for you than to experience the pride
of representing the blue and gold in our community. From an ownership perspective, I have put a great deal of thought and research into the fan experience over the last year and feel it is time to begin making gradual upgrades to our arena that will play a key role in enhancing your game day. We are thrilled about the many projects we have in
the pipeline, none bigger than a new videoboard that will be ready for the 2024-25 season. The goal of this project is to create a first-class experience without detracting from the game on the ice. As you'll see in the rendering below, the new videoboard achieves this while integrating state-of-the-art technology that is brand new to Mitsubishi, incredible resolution, and high functionality. I can't wait to see it hung in our arena and am confident it will be a positive addition
to the gameday atmosphere. In addition to the videoboard, we are also replacing the roof of KeyBank Center. While I understand this is less flashy, I felt it important you know the work and care going into all aspects of our organization. Along with business leadership, I will continue to evaluate areas to invest in the
arena with the fan experience in mind. I hope you have enjoyed improvements to our food and beverage offerings. While we will continue to work with our food partners on concessions, we are thankful for the fans that participated in food councils and gave us valued opinions that helped drive the positive change we saw this
season. Most of all, we want you to know how much our players and organization care about this community, this fan base, and most of all, the loyalty of our Season Ticket Members. We are excited for our players to be able to express their gratitude directly with the addition of a full-team event to the calendar for the 2024-25 season that will be exclusive for full season members. On top of the videoboard, a full-team event, and the roof, there are many other items we are looking forward to in the season to come, including an NHL tentpole event that will be announced in the coming
weeks. Our future is bright and we are honored to have you as part of the family.
Thank you for your continued support. Onward and upward.
Best,
Terry Pegula and Kevyn Adams |

The Buffalo Sabres have announced renovations to KeyBank Center for the 2024-25 season, including a state-of-the-art videoboard and a new roof to the arena.
The 27-foot-by-43-foot videoboard utilizes the latest technology from Mitsubishi Electric. The screen size will roughly double that of the current videoboard inside KeyBank Center with upgrades in resolution and functionality.
Other videoboard features include four fully digital corner panels as well as two screens on the boardâs underbelly to provide additional angles for fans in the lower rows.

The team met with multiple suppliers and studied videoboards throughout the NHL to identify a model suitable for KeyBank Center.
âFrom an ownership perspective, I have put a great deal of thought and research into the fan experience over the last year and feel it is time to begin making gradual upgrades to our arena that will play a key role in enhancing game day for our fans,â Sabres owner Terry Pegula said. âWe are thrilled about the many projects we have in the pipeline, none bigger than a new videoboard that will be ready for the 2024-25 season.
âAlong with business leadership, I will continue to evaluate areas to invest in the arena with the fan experience in mind.â
The Sabres have hired Pike Construction Services, a company founded and operated in Western New York, to oversee the installation of the new roof at KeyBank Center.

Skinner, I think you hold 3 million in the offseason and you can get yourself a bottom 6 player and a prospect or pick.
Use that money towards Mittelstadt, Peterka and/or Quinn. And also in a separate trade for a new, impact forward.
That's a dynamic changer. - TheSabresTaco
He has a full NMC right? I can't see him going anywhere given that he likes being near his family. |

Not a huge fallout in offensive talent on that Calgary team. He was fifth in points last season. He is a part of that crumbling team. No excuse for him.
