Am I the only one that gives the Grozet away when they get that pack? It's maybe slightly better than a standard piss lager. The rest in that pack are awesome so it's totally out of place.

Can you have other alcoholic beverages? They all use yeast for fermentation as far as I know. Just curious if it's only an allergy specific to the yeast used in beer.

I don't drink at all, i've had a negative response in the few occasions I did try harder alcohol so as a result I haven't drank in about 8 years.

I attempted multiple brands of beer all with about the same reaction, my skin felt swollen and I got very flush like the reaction you get from taking too much Niacin. Within fifteen minutes of drinking I receive a vicious headache and begin to sweat heavily, followed by vomiting. This was from about a third of a beer, most instances not on an empty stomach either.

When I have tried harder liquor like Whiskey, Vodka, I never got the skin reactions but did still get the headache and sweating within a half hour of taking a shot. There really isn't a way to exactly pinpoint what causes these reactions but the doctor had said it was probable that it's a reaction to the yeast.

Sounds like a typical night out to me

Just kidding of course lol. That's unfortunate. I think if that happened to me the first time I drank I probably wouldn't have cared or missed drinking beer. If I just started getting an allergy like that out of the blue now though..
