Right on Kick I fired 4 of those (frank)ers down...took a break from my usual local bitter and cleansed the palette. Nice and bright, 2nd best abbey beer IMO.

I don't think I've had a single decent pale lager before in my life. They're all pretty bad. That's a good brewery though so try more from them if you see them.

Their ESB style beer is great. Their stout, winter warmer (might have just been a one time release), and brown ale are really good too.

I don't know what my 2nd favourite is. My fav is probably St Bernardus Abt 12 though.

^^ They have a ton of these at the Eglinton/Laird LCBO right now. That's a bit out of the way but I'll have to pick some up. The LCBO seems to get this once in a while. A bit pricey for a beer @ $15 for 750ml but well worth it still. Just a heads up for anyone in Toronto.

Sampled quite a few of the beers at the Mill Street Brewery in Ottawa a little while back...



Some very interesting ones there. Ended up settling on the Stock Ale... a nice session beer.
