There's no reason for it to be almost $3 per 341ml bottle. That's almost how much I pay for Rochefort 8 and other legitimately world class beers. Tough justifying that price when I have other better and cheaper options.

The only reason I've bought it twice is because I don't have access to any other beers in the same style unless I go to a pub.

one of the owners of my favorite bar is a devils fan and i told him tonight i had a good feeling for him about it.


after the game he made sure to high five me as he said he had some friends who could NOT believe that a flyers fan was rooting for him. you'd like him.

More expensive wine is for events, and even then you just start with that poop, then bust out the $11-15 range after. No shame in an $11 bottle of wine sir.

i've seen that. i'll try to remember to give it a shot.

Errazuriz estate carmenere is my go-to cheap wine, but I only have wine a few times a year. At less than $15 I don't think I've had better.. yet.

people keep swearing to me that italy has some nice breweries now but i'm still so skeptical... let me know how it is i'm curious

i got the merry monks, magic hat howl black lager, brooklyn brewing's black chocolate stout, something called winter rental (also a black lager), and the bulleit rye whiskey that was recommended.

i also got three single bottles. dogfish head indian brown ale, and two i never heard of which are new holland - poet oatmeal stout and tommyknocker - maple nut brown.
