Have you tried the IPA/IPA Impériale from microbrewery Du Lièvre?

It's right up there with the Lupulus as one of Québec's best IPAs

I haven't heard of that brewery. Quebec has to many though. It's hard to keep track.

tommyknocker maple nut brown ale. it's brewed with "a touch of pure maple syrup".

sounds like there's a lot of good stuff going on in there when you read the label. it's sweet and all, but it's just okay beer. goes down like soda and doesn't have enough taste.

i'd only buy this again if i was gonna be out in the sun and wanted something real easy to drink that i could try to get drunk with.

At least it isn't Trafalgar Maple Bock. Bad stuff. I've never had a beer brewed with maple syrup that didn't gross me out. I've only had 3 but still. Never again.

eff that last one. this one's much better. it's indian brown ale. i'd never seen it before. but i like it. it's still smooth like the other one, but not watery. and it actually tastes like beer.

this one is really really good, imo.

3rd. First two I figured were just bad beers in general. Now I just blame the maple syrup.

Tip of the day. Put maple syrup on pancakes. Don't put it in beer.

when i told people i liked the young's double chocolate stout i was told to i would love brooklyn brewery black chocolate stout. but i don't know. i like young's better. i could just have a bad batch (if that's possible), but i don't like the smell and the taste is nothing special to me.

it also leaves a funny aftertaste. when i have the choice i will choose the young's.
