Just finished off one of these. Pretty tasty, grapefruit was nice and subtle, complemented the hops really well.

the one in the can was okay. it's sly fox pikeland pils. a little too light and fizzy maybe but i thought it had a nice taste and all that bit.

the one on the left is Founders Red's Rye PA and was actually pretty sensational, even if that maybe isn't my favorite type of beer.

It's pretty good actually. Tastes more like an IPA than a wheat beer though.

Just had one of these bad boys. Very good Hefe. Almost 8% ABV and comes in a 1L bottle so it'll kick your ass pretty good. Surprisingly smooth given the high abv, typical unfiltered hefe yeasty flavours.

I had their "Honey Pale Ale" and I hated it so I was a little skeptical of this one, but I'm a fan.

First time I heard of that company was tonight at the pub. They had their IIPA and something else I can't remember (think it was some sort of stout). Didn't try it since it was $30 a bottle but made a note of the name to see if they were any good.

I came close to caving in and getting a bottle of Westy 12 for $30 lol.

So good. A nice dry Belgian.

I know I've posted this before but mmm. In a blind test I'd probably just say this was an extremely good Belgian quad rather than a weizenbock like it really is. Just a hint of clove and banana otherwise I'd never guess it was a weizenbock. Like a lot of Quebec beers it seems to stray more towards a sweet finish rather than being dry otherwise you'd never guess it was a Canadian rather than Belgian or something. Absolutely top notch. I'm lucky to have a friend from Quebec who brings me all these Quebec gems

Tomorrow I'm going to have another Hibernus from Charlevioux. Looking forward to it. So delicious.

It's an amazing english ale. Other than Honey Dew you can't go wrong with Fullers in general though. Their porter is probably the best I've ever had. 1845.. whoa. It's one of the best beers I've ever had period, same with their vintages.

excellent, though i think labeling this an amber ale isn't really on point. felt like it was maybe a little more like a strong dark ale.

had a mikkeller ipa but can't remember which it was. tried looking for it, but the labels (though awesome) aren't easily distinguishable one to another and they make like 50 different kinds of IPAs. either way, it was awesome and i will buy/try any mikkeller offering i see going forward.

Definitely, will check it out. We found a literary pub tour (works perfect since the Mrs. is a writer), so sounds like it will hit a good chunk of the more historic joints.
