Had a "Beerluck" on Friday. This was the lineup. The "Blood, Sweat & Tears" Rauchbier actually went over much better than I thought it would.

Definitely, that and the Weizenbock. The crowd was primarily domestic lager drinkers so the choices were pretty tame. The Pumphouse Blueberry Ale was decent too. The Mrs. picked the cider and it was pretty good too, nice and tart.

I don't think I've had their weizenbock (and I love weizenbocks) but everything else I've had from Ayinger has been great so I'm sure it's good.

it was okay. but i never reallyl ike the christmas beers. i wouldn't look for it to buy.

I've honestly had around 20 pumpkin beers this year (a lot of them just samples) and Pumking is miles ahead of all of them.

i never like the spicy taste to pumpkin beers. nutmeg or whatever it is. i've also really never had a christmas beer i've enjoyed that much for the same reason. most of them taste like there's cinnamon in them or something.

but this is more like pumpkin pie with cool wHip.

the smell alone is kind of incredible.

need suggestions for irish whisky.
