my place replaced the gulden draak with uni fin du monde which is rare here on tap...

but the gas that runs the lines had some incident. no drafts 2day

I like gulden draak more myself so that's a double travesty.

What'd you think of that one? I think the Big Rock Rye/Ginger is the only ginger beer I've really enjoyed. Crabbies might as well be soda, the Phillips was decent but wouldn't drink it all the time. GIB's was kind of meh.

It was ok, but the ginger is a little overpowering for me, and Im a HUGE fan of ginger in almost any form. I ate fish tacos with that beer and my belches eventually drove my wife to the other side of the booth. She said the combo smelled worse than a protein fart.

I think it's a permanent beer on tap at the Beer Bistro here now. I like the bottled version better though. Maredsous 8 and La Trappe Quad were on tap last time I was there too.
