Way too $$$ for me but very good as a treat

Had one this weekend and didn't enjoy it as much as I was expecting based on how much I liked it in the past. I'll have to revisit it again.

One of these for dessert tonight, super chocolate but with a very clean finish. Exceptional.

Interesting ... I get bitter coffee from the OEO but I can see some super dark chocolate notes. Really good beer regardless.

Yeah, I like dark chocolate - in the 90% range - so more like that than a sweeter milk variety.

i think they've really dropped off in quality after the buyout

i did find a couple of bottles of pepe nero recently that were still good but otherwise i've been disappointed with them lately

I was skeptical at first too but it's real subtle. Didn't even notice it until it warmed. Was a pretty solid beer.
