Probably the best lineup I've seen in a beer event in Quebec. And I won't be there

It's really good. Extremely drinkable too even though it's 8%. Sessionable 8% beers are scary.

-Dernière Volonté Pinot (Dieu du Ciel!)**
-Aphrodisiaque Rhum (Dieu du Ciel!)**
-Dominus Vobiscum Hibernus (Charlevoix)*
-Impérial Stout Catherine (le Castor)**
-Trip à 3 Brett (À la fût)**
-Cask: ZederBock (Trois Mousquetaires)
-Bouteille: Dulcis Succubus Brassin Spécial (Trou du Diable) au verre
-Bouteille: Volo 25e (Trou du diable) au verre <-- My friend rates this as his fav beer. I need to try it soon before they run out. $40 a bottle at Volo though
-Bouteille: Les Limbes- Rouge des Flandres (Trou du Diable) au verre

Those are what I'd 100% have to try.

I barely even drink and I feel like I'm the only person who posts here, wtf guys.

Had this sucker at a little over 1 years old and it's pretty nice. It's a stupid size though. You need the yeast so you can't really fairly share it but it's 750ml and 10.5% so you kind of have to. Dumb.

Really good though. I plan on trying it at 2, 3, and 4 years old too so we'll see how it ages.

Ok, fine daeth.

22oz of this tonight:

This is what I should have gotten this fall instead of the Pumking. It is ever so much better, like pumkin pie with an espresso chaser.

whelp, as a coffee whore i'm already sold.

Though to be honest you jerks scared me away from the 2013 Pumking so I never actually had it. The 2012 and earlier versions were fansastic though lol. I make it sound dramatic but I'm a gross beer snob so I don't drink anything but the best these days anyway so you all probably saved me this time around.

What may be described as one of the best sounds in the world, Americans cracked open their first can of beer on January 24th in 1935. The first brewer being Gottfried Krueger delivering 2,000 cans of their beer to thirsty consumers in Richmond, VA.

Pumking this year was just ok to me, and since I liked it so much the year before that qualified as a big disappointment. So yeah, I'd suggest the Warlock instead most definitely.

I'll keep an eye out for it at bars but I can't buy it at the LCBO unfortunately. Sounds really good though.

On tap. It's a collab with DDC and Alchemist apparently. I need some fresh Heady Topper.

Yeah, it's a collab. Now Quebec's go-to IPA, with the Castor's.

Allagash Interlude

Two yeast strains were used to create this unique 9.5% ABV Belgian style ale. The first, a Belgian farmhouse yeast, establishes the flavor foundations of a classic Belgian-style ale. The second, a house strain of Brettanomyces yeast, brings it to the next level contributing an intriguing myriad of flavors including pear, apricot, graham cracker, and bread crust. Finally, a portion of the Interlude is aged in red wine barrels, which impart a distinctive vinous plum character and a drying, almost tannic finish.
