okay, i know i keep saying how disappointed i am in their beers, but people keep bringing them to places i am and asking me to try them. i am not the type to turn down such a challenge.



this one is the dry irish stout. which is nothing like a regular stout apparently. it is more watery. it was drinkable. there wasn't a ton of taste but at least it wasn't bad.

they make my fav lager and their black chocolate stout is amazing. monster ale was a great barley wine too but apparently they discontinued it. their hopfenweisse collab with schneider is one of my favourite overall beers too.

i coulda just got a bad batch but i thought their black chocolate stout was wholly and entirely boring.

i thought youngs double chocolate stout blew it away and i know some beer snobs that claim the youngs is basically soda. like it's for children. but i'd take it over the brooklyn black chocolate any day of the week.

the hops really only add a floral/spicy thing to the beer i find. it's not particularly bitter. bohemian pilsners like pilsner urquel put it to shame on that front.

i think it's really nice. if you let it age for over 6 months it loses all of that and just becomes another boring lager.

ive had some flying fish that i just let rot in my fridge and passed off to guests

but i do like their farmhouse ale

haven't talked to him in years.

this little number came in a 12 ounce can.

poured a clearish straw like color. mostly transparent.

nose - cold urine

taste - cold urine

mouth feel - cold urine


a solid 2/10. light years better than warm urine. would not buy again.
