tomorrow's plans include a stop to try and find this tequila adge really loves, i told him i'd buy him a bottle as part of his birthday present, and a stop at the giant beer distributor type place to look for some interesting stuff to take to a bbq next week

i had planned to do laundry. but today i was out and i bought some clothes that i realized can get me through work next week so i totally am not doing laundry tomorrow now. lolazy

I found out why they all have "session" in the name. They're named after a beer festival called "Session Toronto". Mystery solved.

i noticed that it's spring or something now. i also noticed that all the cool hipster kids drink beer from cans now.

so in keeping with both of these thoughts i bought a couple of 6 packs of tin and made sure they weren't my usual winter time porters or stouts. i also rolled up my skinny jeans, put on some thick framed glasses (non-prescription), and grew a handlebar mustache.

i'm pretty sure both beers will suck.

i got avery brewing co's ellie's brown ale (which i guess isn't exactly a summer beer, but it comes in a can and is only 5.5%). i pretty much bought it because ellie is on the label and she is a cool pup.



not gonna lie though, i feel like i may have had this before

i also bought neshaminy creek brewery's croydon cream ale. because i think i know somebody from croy croy.

that one is kind of guaranteed to suck. but it seemed "summer summer summer time" to me. so i bought it. also, it was only like 9 dollars or something

i was wrong about ellie's sucking.

i believe i have officially found the only 2 truly great brown ales on the planet.

the dogfish head indian brown ale and now this.

this is actually a really really good beer and i will buy it again.

was it nfph that decided he liked the dogfish head one after being apprehensive? try this one too.
