Yes, it was warm. Like a cognac - yes. Just taste a hell of a lot better. Very smooth!. I'd say, it might actually be worth buying a bottle and I'm not a big Sam Adams fan. Sam Adam Triple bock however, is awful.

That's actually pretty cool!

My fave brew: McSorleys Ale (yes, "that" McSorleys.) VERY smooth. (But try finding it on a store or liquor outlets' shelf where it hasn't collected cobwebs & tastes "old".)

What I drink instead: Budweiser (bottles only and ICE cold)
Nothing fancy obviously, but it gets the job done..lol

Least fave: Corona. Can't help it. It tastes like dishwashing liquid to me, especially when you try "disguising" it with a freakin' lemon or lime. Ugh.

There's a spiced ale @ 9% ABV with even more attitude than Igloo Ale and
there's also an English Barleywine -

Traditional winter seasonals are warm and comforting - not this Penguin. This beer doesn't ferment, it hibernates, and wakes up with an attitude.

I'm just kidding. I've always lived here and love it. The last decent Barleywine I had was at Pizza Plant on Main. Don't remember who made though. Haven't been out to Amhert Ale house lately, they're usually good for one.

Seems normal, my god.. if I had to wait until I was 21 to drink legally... drinking usually starts around 14 here in montreal though
