Deschutes Hopzeit Autumn IPA

Kind of smells like leaves. Tastes like a weak IPA with more malt than hops. I like to be slapped in the face with hops and this had me wanting more. It's ok I guess but wouldn't buy another one.

it was a lot of 9% beer.

nicklebrook immodest iipa. i recommend it.

edit: nicklebrook has serious consistency issues though so i was lucky it was as good as it was

Im convinced its the jeckell and hyde of beers. Sometimes i think its awful

Great Lakes Brewing Steady Rollin session IPA

Nice hop smell. Tastes lighter than the smell. It's very easy to drink, only 4.8%. This is a nice session IPA, would drink again.

Lancaster Brewing Baked Pumpkin Ale

Smells like straight up pumpkin pie. Tastes more like the pumpkin pie spice with a slight bready malt taste. I don't normally enjoy these beers unless its a stout pumpkin variety but this one isn't too bad. I could drink one or two.

On a huge session IPA sequence here in the last months. Strong IPAs and double IPA are starting to give me me headaches. Jealous of all the session options you guys have in the States.

As in most beer trends emanating in the US (IPAs, berliner weisses and sours in general, farmhouse saisons), Quebec is 1-2 years late to the party. We should get a load of sessions next year

After a couple bad prior incidents, swore off chili beers - but this one is super subtle. Brother in law gave me 2 22's as a thanks for looking after his kid for a day. Typical Gose sweet-sour-salt but with a minor chili flavor at the very end (with the salt). S2TP would give this 9.1 out of 10 if he had it and liked gose styles.

Made a trip to Vermont today, picked up heady topper, focal banger, crusher at the alchemist. Sip of sunshine, super session, double sunshine, peril imperial IPA, maple tripple ale from Lawson's finest liquids. Tribute from 14th star brewery and cone head from zero gravity.
