Depends on the style. Adding fruit to an IPA is so unnecessary especially when the hops used are already adding the exact flavour profile of the fruit they added except with 10x the intensity of the actual fruit. IMHO. Grapefruit IPA? Ok lol.

A lot of the Belgian styles do really well with fruit though, especially sour/wild ales. Crazy things happen with those when fruit is added.

Liked the tartness brought by the grapefruit. Can't say it was balanced, but there really was a difference between the grapefruit flavour and a grapefruit aftertaste brought by the use of particular hops.

I like that breweries start to add fruits to their beers not in order to make fruit-centric brews aimed at non-beer drinkers, but to complement aromas and flavours. DDC's apricot tripel is a pretty good example.

And yeah, almost all of Cantillon's repertoire consists of their base lambic with a different fruit

As long as I never have to taste a quad that has actual figs and dates in it I'm cool. Experiment away, just leave me out of it lol.

i may have had this one before but i don't really remember. it looks familiar.

anyway, it is very good. one of he few flavored beers i've had that really tastes like the flavor they wrote on the label.

it might get a little overbearing with the sweetness if you drink it all the time but i bought 6 and drank 5 so it couldn't have bothered me that much.

wasn't really expecting much but this was delicious.

i expected some trendy weird uber craft beer, especially when i saw the can.

but this was good and if i see it again i'll buy it again. the word "biscuity" in beer reviews has never made more sense to me.
