big fan of belgian ipas but big hater of fruit beers

i also hate fruit beers.

but this one tastes mostly like a beer. which is nice. it doesn't taste or feel like those nasty wine-cooler-tasting beers. i feel like if you don't tell someone what it is they might think it's just a real juicy west coast ipa.

the top one is really good. very solid beer.

the middle one is a gimmick beer i guess but i liked it. the mango is probably too strong because if it was orange or something i would have complained that i can't taste the beer through it. but it was mango and i'm in love with mango so i liked it.

the bottom one was fine but not special to me. not sure why. could have just been that i had just finished the mango beer. maybe i should have had a little water between the two or something.

usually not my thing but this was good.

orange and pineapple but still a beer. not like some of these fruity ass beers where it tastes like it's just some kind of syrup added.

Nicklebrook makes some interesting sour beers. Cucumber & Lime, Raspberry and Pineapple. Never had the Pineapple, but the other two are good.

he's right though. that cucumber and lime gose by nickelbrook is really good

So had no idea what a grapefruit radler was but it’s apparently like a light beer with a little more flavor. It’s only 4.5% so not too heavy. It’s not bad but it’s not great.

i had a similar super light beer with fruit in it tonight. not sure if we talked about this before but a relative keeps buying it for me. it's like a soda though.



here's one at joe's peking duck house in marlton. i highly recommend joe's peking duck house in marlton if you're ever in the area, but remember it's cash only and it's BYOB.

but i also had this awesome kane sneak box at chickies & pete's (where i will never go again).



now this was delicious. another new jersey brewery that's turned out to be a winner. who knew anything good could ever come out of that godforsaken state.

it's got the hops, it's got the citrus, it's got it all. it's a great american pale ale.

i haven't had a bad kane beer yet,

i'll give this like 8.666 s2tp's.

but i also had this awesome kane sneak box at chickies & pete's (where i will never go again).

i dunno. pretty sure i've had this before and liked it. i may have even reviewed it on this very hockey website - before this label but the same beer. but tonight it was just meh to me.

it's a jersey beer (there are so many all of a sudden) but this was nothing like a cape may brewery beer or one of those kane beers. this was drinkable but not anything great. it kind of turned me off this time and now i probably won't buy it again because it'll just stick with me.
