I find it funny, you guys in Buffalo love Blue. It's all over the place there. But yet, you guys don't get the best Canadian stuff imported. If you think Blue is great, you're really missing out on better stuff.
- thehuds

OMFG. They're all talking about Molson Canadian being a good beer. I can't believe what I'm seeing. I mean, I've been all through the US, and fully realize that the vast majority of the stuff they get down there is fairly tasteless (yes, I realize there are some fantastic exceptions), but Canadian? Blue? Good lord. (for the mass produced stuff, I'd take Blue over Canadian any day).

Man, if the Yanks think Blue and Canadian are good, they REALLY are missing the best beers around. Outside of Blue and Canadian (and not getting into microbreweries), Keith's is mass produced, and much better. I like the new Rickard's White too. True Kokanee, not the London, Ont brewed stuff is good. Moosehead. Sleeman Silver Creek or the Original Draught.

the funny thing is, I find some of the American beers pretty good for drinking on a Saturday afternoon in the sun. Basically because, you want something a little less strong, something you can sip down like water.....

No kidding.

Does her honor, the mayor visit there?

- blueline

Oh, I'm sure Hazel has made a visit or two in her tenure as Mayor... she's still going, believe it or not. I think she's like 150 years old or something. She's actually 88 years old, and has quite the lead foot from what I hear.

Vast majority by volume? Sure. By number of labels? Not even close. You love that people like Labatt blue? I love that Canadians think American Brewing is Budweiser. We just keep the good stuff and send the crap out worldwide because it keeps better.

A hard to find Dogfish head offering. I was lucky enough to spot this at the local bottle shop. Its a blend of their oak-aged English strong ale and 90 Minute I.P.A. Darn tasty!!!!

Wow! Crims comes out of nowhere with one.

Agreed. Pilsner Urquell is a good beer. I believe its the template for most of your domestic pilsners. Great to drink on a hot summer day.

Much like the beer below. Excellent summer beer.

I'm a college student. I pretty much live on Keystone while I'm in school, and I've got no problem with it. In fact Keystone Light is the same as Coors Light. Its just slightly bitter tasting.
- BuffaloHockey96

I didnt know they had any taste at all.

Kind of hard to find, but really good an mellow brew with little carbonation and a nice bitterness. Also, possibly the coolest bottle of any beer.

Tried the Rogue Brewery, Dead Guy Ale last night, that stuff is excellent, although it was 18.99 ( ) for 6 plus taxes at the local liquor store...but worth it once in a while.

dogfish head had one called "golden showers" (which was discontinued because of the name). I wonder which one came first?
