I enjoyed the game. The PP was definitely a let down and there were the 2 huge defensive breakdowns in the 3rd, but otherwise, it was an even game with the Canucks owning the edge in play. I loved how physical the Canucks were. In a 7 game series, that level of physicality would add up. Despite the losing result, they looked ready to step it up and battle. - micah555
Same.
Fun game to watch.
Loved the physicality.
I like this teams chances in any matchup.
Felt like we missed a couple chances in the PP that were close.
I wonder why we don’t try that tictactoe bumper set up that Monahan scored on us.
Horvat (and JTM) used to use it effectively.
Maybe mix it up a bit to keep the PK guessing. |

The PP is predictable again, plus they aren't shooting it enough while trying to set up the backdoor or east-west one-timer. They also hold onto the puck too much while trying to set up instead of passing it quickly around to try and get the opposition out of position. - DariusKnight
Demko fault, he should get the puck up quicker. |

They better get used to biased officiating, the league doesn’t want the Canucks to finish first or have any success in the playoffs. (frank) em just keep playing physical even though the league doesn’t want them to. - Bettmanhatesus
Yep a tough battle coming not only have to beat the teams but Gary's boys as well. |

I said about 2 months ago WPG could be the best team in the league and was quickly shown the standings by someone up North.
They are a very good team. They could be the ones to watch. - VANTEL
Demko’s fault if he could just stop the puck Winnipeg wouldn’t be the best team ever. |

Fair statement.
I do expect Soucy to be put on LTIR in the next two days followed by a trade or two. We will see. - VANTEL
Yes Rutherford and Allvin will look at something I'm sure. |

Stop blaming Demko! It's the refs because the NHL doesn't want Vancouver to be successful. |

Yeah not sure you understand, Demko is American, he is in collusion with Bettman to have the refs screw over Vancouver by his really poor play and getting his teammates to take poopty penalties in turn he will not try to save the puck on the PK. And if the Canucks are close to winning he will let in a couple 5v5 so it looks like he tried. This way Demko is forcing the Canucks to trade him to an American contender, he would consider Winnipeg because they are the greatest team in Canada but his closest friend ever Hellibuck already has that position sown up. So he will continue to drag the PP down, allow short handed against, and just generally not make the needed save.
It’s all right there to see, not sure how you’re blinded by MSM and the smoke and mirrors show the Canucks have going on. |

So, what you're saying is that Demko's mom's threeway with Bill Daly and George Parros was a distraction technique? |

Yeah totally agree. It was a close game mistakes cost Canucks.
As for PP they continued, after Horvat left, with the bumper. JTM was feeding Boeser. They have gotten away from that because teams knew that play and had adjusted down low. That’s when Canucks went to fluid rotations. They have become a little static so PP failing of late. |

They haven't score PP goal in seven games. They have had plenty of practices. The problem is the other team lets them stay to the outside. They need to shoot and traffic in front.

The oilers have had 3 days between games many times this year no wonder they have 5 games in hand 😆, back on the road again for another morning start then a back to back again no time for practice and management approved this schedule and people actually believe that 😆 |

#Kuzmenko.
Gonna take Lindholm awhile to settle into PP1 if that is where Tocchet keeps him.
I'm sure they will work it out. |
