Noon game here for family day folks enjoy your well-earned days off (for those of us that work anyways) lol and enjoy Gary's excellent NHL scheduling!!
Did you catch the Genesis at Riviera final round yesterday? Wow that course looks stunning and in excellent shape. Hideki totally dialed in and that Zallatoris kid is gonna win a major. |

Yeah dude Willie Z is healthy again and has shaken off the rust. Cantlay blew that tourney forsure. Mats absolutely dialed in on that 4th round |

Matsuyama is basically telling us he's gonna win another major this season. Next level his game was yesterday. Unreal play. |

I watched it last night, his irons were so dialed in. My wife and I golfed yesterday with a couple from Red Deer we know, they winter down here. Beautiful 25°C day. |

Should have a great shot at first overall, that Mack Celebrini kid should help sellout the new arena, easily. |

I find it humorous that the Penguins only have three jerseys retired (Jagr just yesterday being the third), yet the Canucks have six.
Jagr, who is second in NHL history with 1,921 points (766 goals, 1,155 assists) in 1,733 regular-season games, became the third player to have his numbers retired by Pittsburgh, joining his idol Mario Lemieux (66) and Michel Briere (21).
The Canucks have retired six players' jerseys in their history—Pavel Bure (10), Stan Smyl (12), Trevor Linden (16), Markus Naslund (19), Daniel Sedin (22) and Henrik Sedin (33). |

The Canucks are pathetic in that regard.
There should only be six purple ribbons hanging from the rafters. |

Love Jagr’s speech, legendary!! The part about his girlfriend was hilarious. I’ve been watching highlights of his, he was so under appreciated, damn he was so awesome.
Regarding the Canucks retiring numbers, it’s a complete joke, as we all know. You could make a case for three players having their numbers retired, Bure, Henrik & Daniel, and even then it’s debatable. |

Have you heard how he manipulated the draft so he could play with Mario?
According to Craig Patrick, Jagr did his best to manipulate the draft so that he could end up in Pittsburgh playing alongside Mario Lemieux.
"I found out years later that when he was interviewed by teams ahead of us, he told them all that he wasn't coming over [to the NHL] right away," Patrick recently told reporters at a Penguins alumni golf outing. "When we asked him that question, he said 'I'll be there tomorrow if you draft me.' I think other teams backed off because of that. We were happy he was there at #5. We were surprised he was there, definitely."
Jagr was reportedly willing to make more of a commitment to the Penguins than the four teams that picked before them -- the Nordiques, Canucks, Red Wings and Flyers -- because he "idolized" Lemieux. |
