A win is a win. Glad I wasn't on to spoil the mood because for 2 hours I was a very unhappy boy. |

All good with me. I was being serious, for 2 hours I was beyond sour. I was happy the board got enjoy all that game encompassed without me killing the vibe. |

It's why I try and read the comments during the game cognizant it's meant to be a venting session. |

Best game I ever attended. What an atmosphere It was like a hollywood script how the game played out, it was meant to be they played like poop for 50 minutes
Hell yea they should do it every year, and I’d go every time lol it had to be 70-30 ratio in favor of rangers fans which I didn’t expect to be that many
The locker room stuff was great I just saw that now, and the entrance into the stadium was very classy. Good job by the org with all that.
I think both goalies struggled with sight lines and being in a stadium, neither looked very comfortable all game.
I had a bad feeling all week that they’d lose and the islanders would dominant being a desperate team so I’ll take the way they played out of it for one game and not worry about it. But they made it happen even when they weren’t at their best and still pulled out an epic win. Can’t express how much fun that game was to be a part of, I hugged and high fived so many people I didn’t know it was like the best party ever for the last half hour of real time. Voice is gone!!
Let em cook! One guy was saying that during the PPs when every one was screaming to shoot, turns out he was right. He was wasted too those PPs were masterful and Lavy deserves credit for pulling Shesty seeing the opportunity to score |

That what's been so frustrating recently. Like just move the puck quickly and let Kreider go to the front of the net. Works well, don't deviate from it. - blacksheep1
They get pass happy and unselfish mostly. That Zib goal a roof would’ve lifted, what a goal timing wise and because it was Zib. I almost fell in the mosh pit of excitement haha |

The only thing about this team I truly cannot abide is mika passing on every 2 on 1. I think his brain malfunctions on odd man rushes. Everything else is kind of just venting in the moment and can turn when something good happens. But also, yesterday was fairly timid in here |

Isles were blocking shooting lanes, why they kept looking for an open angle. Nerve-wracking to watch, but from where my seats were, you could see why they waited. But agree, put more towards the net. |

On a different note, Chris Kreider needs 7 more goals to reach 300. Was very happy for brief moment when Sean Mcdonough and Ray Ferraro said he was one of the best Rangers ever |

Great blog Jan! Glad you were able to go to such an amazing event with the best outcome possible
That game was a roller coaster of emotions man. Lots of highs and lows. Glad Igor played better as the game went on and made some big saves for us. The FanDuel line was +1440 with 5 minutes left as the Rangers were about to go on the 4 on 3. I was close to putting $20 on it, but I bittched out
I loved the NYR entrance. A lot of my good friends are firefighters so to see my buddy walk in side by side with Panarin was pretty awesome. Those are memories that my friends will never forget and I'm happy the Rangers paid homage to the bravest & finest

Has he become the dominate power forward winger we hoped for, no. Has he become an all situations winger who may end up with 400+ goals, yup. |

Great example of not caving on a trade demand (see Columbus, Rick Nash, 2012).
And a good reminder that Drury waiting to do something isn't always a bad thing. The prices are probably sky high for marginal players right now, and as much as he'd love to improve the team, you can't make a massive organizational mistake by overpaying when you could wait til the deadline and get a better deal.
I can't even imagine what the last 10 years as a Ranger fan would have been like if we had caved and traded Kreider in the Nash deal |

Kudos to all who attended the game. Great memories... "That will last a lifetime" (There you go, a shoutout to Sam)
So the Isles fans were annoyed they played the Ranger goal song.... Even funnier was after the game, the Road Team Rangers did the center ice fan salute |

I have to confirm but think they did the same for Devils and Flyers on Saturday, playing both goal songs. Isles "home" game, but 70-30 Rangers in terms of fan attendance. |

Being at the game I noticed a few things, one being Miller. He is really struggling out there and he drifts out of position seems like every shift. Like he’s out there for a leisurely skate at times…it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s the one traded since he has a cap hit that could get them a few players
He may still be too raw for a team with cup aspirations |

while sheshty should have had the horvat goal - he blew past miller like he was standing still. forcing outside is one thing, but it's 4v4 you cant be flat footed there. |
