Who’s chopping onions? Didn’t realize the part about his father, so cool of Kreids to acknowledge him. - TC88
Right?
Players never forget their first game, but that was an unbelievable first game. And to be "welcomed" by Matt Martin, kid must be on Cloud 9. |

Yea gotta say that was pretty cool by Martin. Understanding the moment, and a kids career. It made the game that much better. Even tho it gave the Islanders momentum probably lol I’ve always respected Martin. Hes not that dirty fighter and he’s just a classy guy. Boomer raised him well
I love Rempe, but he has to play more if he’s in the lineup. I get that the game got out of hand early and they have shorten the bench. But shortening the bench will bite them in ass if they do it all the time. But him Edstrom are the makings of a good, big, physical 4th line and starting next year they really could be good with Vesey. This is why they’ll buy out Goodrow imo, because of these big guys if they stick around. They need a reason buy him out lol

My question with Rempe is can he do more at an NHL level other than be big and physical. I understand that there comes a time in a game where a guy like him has value. However, Ill go back to one of my fav trade targets from the Preds, Yakov Trenin, scoring double digit goals in 2 consecutive years and on pace to make that 3, while also offering up a solid physical presence on the ice. |

Reports from the NHL are that the boards were not damaged by Lindgrens face. - aecliptic
I had a house full of family during the game. When things started to get out of hand, I went back to the kitchen to escape the stress. But, when they called me back in for that goal and I saw Lindgren down and bleeding I exclaimed, "We got this in the bag, now!!!" They laughed, but I knew!! |

I think he got lucky because it was near his eye, but it swelled shut so I heard that’s why he didn’t comeback in. They mentioned that on the radio post game |

Yeah, heard that too. A swollen eye is better than no eye.
I hope there's not a let down game coming tonight. Would be really great to see them come out tonight against a damn good Dallas team, play a full 60 minutes, and come out with a W. Did they announce who is starting in net yet?

seriously tho, should be a good one tonight. dallas is awesome - NYRangers1124
Naw, I'm good.
Just laughing at how we (well, you. ) STILL won't give this team the benefit of the doubt and almost every game someone is saying it's over about 7 minutes into the 1st period. |

#NYR Ryan Lindgren says his eye was swollen shut after getting hit with a stick on the follow through of a shot in the Stadium Series game. Ten stitches. He’s fine and good to go tonight lol. |

I wasn't trying to blame any one person. And, as much as I know I have in the past, I wasn't judging anyone. There are just so many times where I watch the game late and then afterward read through the comments and see that it was all doom and gloom in here after a poor start, even if still scoreless, and then we ended up winning. It's happened enough that it is now comical to me.
Not casting blame, or judgement, just amused. |
