Played up to bantam. That's usually when you find out how good you really are. It was painfully obvious I didn't have what it takes. No big loss though as I went to university instead and found success by other means.

Hitting the scoresheet used to be a bit of a smartassed insult for guys who didn't score much or were slumping.

Played with a young South African guy today, former pro, he’s now a mortgage broker in Phoenix, he’s only 35 years old. He played from the tips, shot 69, a treat to watch.

Yeah those guys are special. Have a guy here in our regular group that shoots in the 60's from the tips. Former pro as well but still like you said an absolute treat to watch. Good to hear you are having fun on the course.
