Agreed! And the mistakes that Lohrei is making are purely self-pressure from feeling like he has to make plays just to stay in the lineup. The kid is good enough to be a regular in the lineup and he should be re-assured of that vice looking over his shoulder. And another thing. I've said this before but if McAvoy is a no poop true #1 then Lohrei should be paired with him every night. Just like all the other newbies being paired with Chara. Let him learn from "the best" and "the best" can cover for his occasional mistakes that are going to happen. Move Gryz where he belongs, on the third pairing (or preferably another team). - bluemoon737
Agreed on Lohrei. Get rid of gryz, let Lohrei have his spot. He has gaps in his gamez but being with McAvoy should be a valuable learning experience for him
Do a shakeup at the TDL. Trade gryz and debrusk for different players and add to the middle six and depth on d, or a prospect that could restock the cupboard a tad.
Let lohrei play and give him minutes. He can take gryz's spot with McAvoy. He has the raw skills, let him develop. Or Lindholm. If someone needs to play the opposite side it should be our top two guys on the back end.
Figure it out. They have the talent to win, but need to shake it up. And for the love of God can we get some set lines already. Chemistry is what is going to get this team even remotely close to winning on the post season. Develop some instead of this ridiculous Monty blender of linew - dothedougie
I'm looking forward to fewer Too Many Men on the Ice penalties...
Who's responsible for those?
