They honestly just don’t have another player worthy of a top 6 role. They have the five and then, nothing really. I’m not opposed to trying something different but cates has sucked this year too.

This team cannot afford injuries cause they have no depth. I still put their chances at making the playoffs at prolly a little less than 50/50. Speaking of injuries, I wonder if Coots is playing through something. He has NOT looked good lately and I just saw that he only had 16 minutes of ice time tonight. Frost actually had more ice time than Coots tonight. Something's up?

16:27 of ice time, four high-danger chances of his own, two others that he set up. Wasn't stapled to the bench at all. Flyers just gave a couple extra shifts to Poehling or Couturier while protecting lead. Even then, Frost still had seven third period shifts (seven in the first, six in the second) including one with an empty net at the other end.
