I think he becomes a good/reliable middle 6 guy, likely 3rd line, but can move up if needed.
He is not the game breaker we need in the top 6. - Mashadar
I don't know, he's always been a great PP guy. Great hands, Ok since.
If he keeps working on his skating a little I think he could be a 20G 30A 50P kinda guy. |

I think he is a good bet for 2nd line PP duty, he will score some points and be a good contributor.
He seems to be working well with Newhook, too. So that is interesting.

Michael Matheson, 11tth in scoring amongst defenseman.
Is he currently the best Quebec born player in the NHL?
RDS had a little "make your own top 10" the other day about Quebec born players... and if he's not #1, he's in the top 3 for sure. |

I like Matheson, but as I said with Petry, he would benefit from less playing time and not being a #1 D.
That being said, I think he is the main reason the PP is working so well lately.

I think he's been excellent since coming to Montreal. Big part of our powerplay and our offense for sure.
Is he an idea #1? Probably not but I'm more than fine with him on our first pair. |

He's not good enough in his own zone to be a true number 1. Like he's not really the guy you want on the ice in the last minute of game 7 of the stanley cup finals. But he could be the best 2nd pairing guy in the NHL |

I think Huberdeau is still the best Q. He's just a bad fit in Chadgary |

It's hard to put him at the top with the way he has played in the last two years.

Look at what Barkov has done for Verhaeghe and Reinhart this season - both on pace for 50-ish goals.
Not saying it is all Barkov (obviously), but I think Huberdeau benefited a lot with playing on his wing. Not sure he drives the offense, but is someone who needs a lot of help to drive offence. Plus he is not playing with equally quality players in Calgary.

I'd go to the game, having the chance to see the best soccer player ever is worth buying a ticket.
But I'm not enough of a fan to spend more than a regular price ticket.
So when you see the last tickets are sold for over 500$, sometimes going over 2k... that's just insane.
Imagine if he somehow gets injured and can't play? Holy crap what a poopshow.

Or if they sit out that game / rested.
I am not into soccer really. Will occasionally stop the channel surfing to watch the women's nationals, as they tend to win once in a while, but that is about it.

Yeah, if Xhekaj played every game like that, he'd never be taken out of the lineup.
And Armia played good hockey for almost 2 months, which is a new record.
1 more year of his big ass on our team. - Scabeh
I was listening to Mathias Brunet earlier this week and he said we could see a Armia-Dach-Slafkovsky 2nd line next year. If it's the case I'm taking my business elsewhere I think.
