The Cutter mess is still Fletcher's fault
1 for drafting him over Jiricek
2 if true, promising to sign him early - THE BLACK HAND
Yea, but i heard his infamous app was full of malware |

1. Yes you do, you prepared me in your first sentence.
2. Subjective? Surely! Saying so saves seconds, subsequently. Seconding statement, sir!
You’re over rating him as a prospect
3. The “rebuild” had little to do with my main point. Go ahead and throw it out. Flyers still weren’t dealing with Lindros, guy
4. Yawn on blowing cap space…..how much does ND and Staal really take? They didn’t think he was THAT GOOD or GOOD ENOUGH to take the step with him.

Did the bloom come of Tortorella's rose when the Flyers had multiple losing streaks of 5 games?

Hathaway just hit York into the boards and York skated over to the bench and took three two-handed slams with his stick over the boards.
York is wearing a non-contact jersey underneath his orange jersey for PP drills. |

Oh, okay. If you follow the NHL you'd know that there really isn't a single team that is immune from some losing streaks.

until the leafs do something in the playoffs they are overrated. Doesnt matter how good mitch is. Regular season means squat - bradster
Marcel Dionne never got anywhere in the POs, does that diminish his individual greatness? Not really because winning is a team affair. If regular season means squat then we'd might as well kick Dionne out of the HOF. |

How are we, gentlemen?
Just enjoyed a tasty porterhouse, I have a Rusty Nail in front of me, a nice playlist coming up on the obnoxiously expensive jukebox, and nobody attractive or interesting to talk to, so I’m checking in with you knuckleheads. It’s a bit early yet. Maybe a game of pool to go with the music.
Looks par for the course around here, so far. |

I'll start with I don't counterpoint and dig in with insurmountable stubbornness. What I do is make an intelligent and informed opinion and debate with dedication. I'll start with this, draft ratings are subjective. You'll notice that the term I used was potential elite. Players don't always meet their potential and sometimes potential is misjudged. Making the draft subjective. There are sources who label him as a potential elite player. Now that is dealt with.
This idea that the Flyers were in the infant stages of the rebuild, doesn't hold water. When you have a lack of potential elite player prospects and you have a player you used a top 5 pick on. If he wants to start his NHL career and burn off a year of his ELC early, you give that to him. It was foolish not to. The Flyers don't seem to have any issue blowing tons of cap space on players who aren't worth it, too many to name. Were now supposed to buy that lame excuse? LOL
Yes, with the position the Flyers are in, they absolutely should've been kissing his ass! With a full lip press on! LOL.
I'll await your response with baited breath.

Let me start by saying I'm not sure how you sleep at night (in fact I'm not sure you do sleep since you seem to be on this forum 24/7) when writing statements such as this. This is the complete opposite of what you do, and I have exposed you many, many times already. You need to get a grip!
Cutter Gauthier was NEVER touted to be an elite player in this league, and the poster rightly points out many considered the Flyers pick a reach, including several on this forum (including me) that thought the Flyers should have picked Jiracek. I told you time and time again Gauthier was not a center and it was a mistake for the Flyers to push him in that direction. Now it comes out after the trade that Briere and his staff saw him as a winger. It's interesting to me that you have never mentioned this fact. You are quick to bury Briere and say he effed up because he didn't sign Gauthier right out of college, but what if Gauthier's camp got upset because Fletcher pushed the kid to play center while Briere saw him as a winger? Wouldn't that change in direction be a cause of concern? The lame excuse about the cap space is YOUR excuse. No one from Briere, to those associated with the Flyers, any hockey writer, or Gauthier's camp has come out and stated the reason Briere didn't sign Gauthier as soon as the BC season ended was because they wanted to save a year of ELC. I have offered a different possibility and you greeted that idea with your usual "intelligent and informed" debate style, by calling my several names.
And with your last statement, this again shows you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about hockey or how to build a team. What state are the Flyers in that they will ever have to kiss the butt of a 18 year old?? Hmmm .. the last I checked the Flyers are going to make the playoffs this year, in only the 2nd year of that old, archaic coach you berate on here all the time.
But hey, don't let the facts deter you from your intelligent and informed opinion. What a joke you are. |

He’s a very solid prospect…I haven’t seen anything to suggest he’s elite. Craig Button seems to suggest he’s magically got better since the world JRs…
- landros 2
Exactly, I get to watch him play a lot, and he is far from elite. As I have stated, he is not even the best player on his BC team. I got to see real elite players in college, players like Jack Eichel who were far and away the best players on the ice as a freshman each and every game, and after one season he was playing in the NHL. This kid is a good player, but he is not close to the impact player Jack Eichel was or is, not as a freshman, and not even as a sophomore. In Anaheim CG will get to play with some really good players and even an elite center in Leo Carlsson. He will probably do very well, but let's not make this kid out as more than he is. And let's also give Drysdale a chance to show what he can do because with his skill and Shaw's coaching, I think he is going to become a very, very good player for the Flyers. |

Jd, you are such a complete and utter fool. Your entire post is filled with errors. You can't even accurately assess who has said what! For example saying the cap space issue is my excuse. I didn't bring that up, another poster did. I just commented on it. Half the teams in the league make the playoffs. The position the Flyers are in is having a severe lack of elite and potential elite talent. You are more easily influenced than a 8 year old little girl listening to Taylor Swift. Honestly, you are a complete fool and you just proved it by typing up 3 paragraphs of foolishness. Well done.
