Personally I think the coaching staff could squeeze more out of Risto. We haven’t had a net front presence on the PP all season and I think he has the best point shot on the team. When DeAngelo got bought out, I was hoping we’d use Risto on the power play.

I dunno about Makar but you could definitely get one of the best dmen in the league for him 1 for 1. Even at his cap hit he provides tremendous value.

The only problem is that he's UFA bound soon.

It would have to be something like Stevens for Shanahan. You just don't see those kinds of trades very much. Not because neither player was worth who they were traded for. It's just requires two teams to match up perfectly in what they need.
