Great game. - K-man25
I was really hoping someone would run Skinner. Like old school run him. Need more hate in this rivalry. |

They badly need a goalie.
When Knobby puts 97,29&18 on the same line the rest looks pretty ordinary. At least tonight they did. |

Great boa for the Flames.
After watching the game I noticed a few things
Glad the Oilers signed Perry, he’s slow and really lost a step
Nurse has a contract equal to Huberdeau’s
We should target McCrybaby everytime we play them
Coleman backed up what he said about showing up
Vladar needs a few starts in a row
Kane is a bigger douchebag than ever
Conroy should get a haul for Hanifin
I miss the old battle of Alberta’s |

Well said and I would add to that:
Hanifin and Tanev as a pair with 50% retained would be a game changing acquisition for a team with aspirations of winning a cup!
Imagine those 2 being inserted into the Leafs, Nucks, Dal or NJ lineups at the same time. |

Fuk Treliving! No D for You!
Winnipeg could use them but it would have to be approved by Hanifin. |

I would trade with anyone if the price is right.
Im thinking:
Minton, Cowan and a 1st
lekkerimäki & Willander
Stankoven, Bichsel and a 1st
Mercer, Casey and a 1st |

According to Ceravelli Hani has reportedly made it known he wants to sign in Tampa in the offseason. Meaning teams aren't as willing to part with a big package knowing he is strictly a rental. |

Hanifin is probably as important of a piece as Lindholm & Lindholm was rental return which was pretty good. I would expect similar for Hanifin as to what we got for Lindholm. |

Hanafin has been playing lights out. He will be missed, but I am always weary when a guy suddenly becomes the player we wanted him to be in his contract year.
After his massive payday, I expect him to regress.

Absolutely bang on. One of the few players that is living up to the contract after a career year is Chucky. Never ever should have let him get away. Sutter & Treliving tag teamed that cluster f@@k. He wanted to be captain & Sutter refused to give it to him & Treliving nickel & dimes all the RFA's when you see they are going to be astar in the league, you give him their freaking money & ink them to 8 years. Look at Vancouver with Pettersen, he's walking them to either trade to a team he'll extend with long term a year before he goes UFA or take their qualifying offer for 1 year & go to UFA a year later. GM's cant do these stupid bridges with bonafide star players in their ELC's, just my opinion anyways. Id rather give these players extra for what I think they will do versus paying them at age 29 for what they have done & you know regression is coming in the near future. |

Which Tkachuk? Our Chucky is worth every penny he got from the Panthers. |

I wonder if there is not some sort of trade that sends Hubs to the Devils and Meier comes back. Maybe we send a Markstrom to make it happen.
Hubs is starting to find his game.

No I dont see that, both players are way underperforming their contracts & if anything, I would take Huberdeau right now. Put him with shooters & he's a different player.
Why compensate that kind of deal? Stay the course, get a great return for Marky or keep him. |

Exactly. Huberdeau is a point per game since he lost Lindholm as his center. Pouty Lindholm had to go, now it looks like he won’t be extended in Vancouver
I’m ok with JH getting point/game plus he’s showing a bit of nasty to boot. |

I was only suggesting that as Timo is 27 and a couple million cheaper. Hubs will probably end up getting bought out the last years of his contract. |

Yeah I get that but you would have to compensate Jersey for that 2.0 mill cheaper cap & thats where based on performance its tomato/tomatoe. Just my humble opinion. Lol |

They can't. It's all signing bonus money. Maybe the last year when the bonus is only 5 million, but probably still not worth it. |

I was listening to Barn Burner yesterday. Seravelli was saying that from what he hears, the returns being offered for Hanafin are underwhelming.
