Pretty much, and he has such a great shot! I remember the interview with Hank years ago, saying Kreider has one of the hardest shots to stop on the team. Coming from Hank in his prime is crazy. I just think for years, probably from when he started playing, Kreider has used his speed and size more than anything, and it took so long to break that habit and realize he has a great shot - mdw7413
He still can do that. Hell he almost had the goal to open the game on the penalty kill. But now he's so good in front of the net. It's a fun to watch now. |

Good game, Rangers never looked like they didn't have control. Nice to see Laf with 2 goals dude has had a great season, just been unlucky with scoring.
Rempe hit wasn't dirty, but he has to realize his size and not hit a vulnerable player like that. - mdw7413
Laf would have at least 15 more points if he was on PP1. Plus the number of times he’s been robbed, could easily have a 70+ point season. Going to be fun to see what he evolves into over the next few seasons. |

Yup, I just meant he probably relied on the break away so much, that it worked forever for him, until the NHL. He really is a damn good all around player, except for driving play and puck handling, but thats why we need Zib to get good before the playoffs |

I’m am absolutely thinking Stanley Cup if Lafreniere is going to keep playing like this. Or dare I say even better than this. |

Yup. Hopefully this year was a huge confidence builder for him and he realizes he belongs here and could be a really good player. |

Zib has looked lost in the offensive zone all year. Although he has been great defensively. Why it’s huge to get a legit RW at the deadline. Maybe it helps to open him up |

they havent said - lower body etc etc. i think everyone realizes its bad enough so just let it go kind of deal.
other news:
@frank_seravalli
Not expecting a hearing for #NYR Rempe for this hit on #njdevils Bastian. Big man making a full-body hit. |

I don't know if it will help... I mean it cant hurt, but I think with Zib its in his head and only he could fix it. When he's on, he's driving play from our end all the way into the offensive zone, other than a few games I haven't seen it at all. |

We’ve seen him be a top 10 center with a great/better RW. It’s one of the more obvious things imo. When they put Panarin or now Laf with them, they make things happen most of those shifts
I love Vesey and he even had a moment with them, but he can’t stay there either.
I know people hate this idea, but get a 2C and move Trocheck up with them as the RW. That allows for a one trade kind of thing. |

Right.
That Trouba hit was so nice, I mean absolutely perfect. Shame these players have to fight after hits like that. Bastian should have got 10 for chasing him down and the headlock and punch. |

No way. This is a cop out for Zib. He still has Kreider and Zib drives play. A right wing isn't going to help Zib drive play into the zone and skate with confidence or make good passes or shoot the puck. |
