Edstrom definitely doesn’t look out of place to me or like the game is to quick for him. Rempe looks like he could use a little work on his skating but I think he’s looked good this game. Both look like they could become part of a great 4th line. Edstrom possibly into the middle 6/3rd line.

Exactly. Hopefully better drafting will lead to more in-house bottom 6 players that are actual NHL quality, and we can spend a little more on an elite top 6 F and top 4 D.

Its weird with Chytil. First off, its well known in this place I was never a huge fan of his. He did look pretty good at the start of the year, however, had he never gotten hurt, we may have never found out how good Trocheck would be between Panarin and LAF.

It definitely could have. The crazy thing is all the injuries, the waiving of Bonino and Pitlick has made the team give guys like Brodz, Edstrom and Rempe a deep look and it has worked out.

The worst part of the deadline is they do need a RW for Mika and Kreids, they also need an upgrade at 3C. Not that I think Brodz has played poorly, just that they need someone who can drive a play better there. Unfortunately, adding 2 means taking 2 out of the lineup. Unfortunately the 2 that likely are taken out are Rempe and Edstrom.
