Oh stop! Can you name anything of consequence Blowman did in his tenure as a Blackhawk GM? - paulr

If the Hawks aren't drafting #1 and he's still available I still think they go with Eiserman and draft a d-man with Tampa's pick. Levshunov could be an interesting choice if the Hawks draft #3 and Celebrini and Eiserman are both taken. - DarthKane
Eiserman just doesn't do it for me, honestly. Seems really one dimensional. I think we can do better and aim higher than a Phil Kessel-type (who had a fantastic career nevertheless).

From the Athletic regarding KD at the TDL
GM Kyle Davidson is open again to taking on a contract with 18 months left on it, if it’s worth the sweetener draft pick attached. And that could conceivably happen again if a contender decides it can upgrade in a specific spot in its lineup but needs to move a player that the selling team won’t want back because he’s got term past this year. So keep an eye on that possible scenario, especially if the Hawks don’t mind the player coming back. Zaitsev was OK for them this year — a good veteran to help the younger D — and they got a second and a fourth to take him. |

Reilly Smith come on down. - LAHawk
That'd unironically be a good one, but Pittsburgh doesn't have many assets to give up and is likely closer to a rebuild anyway.
Looking around at teams that are competitive, strapped for cap space, and have contracts that they'd likely gladly get rid of, I was only able to find a couple players on contenders that would fit the bill:
Nate Schmidt, D, Winnipeg Jets (one more year at $5.95m AAV)
Conor Garland, RW, Vancouver Canucks (two more years at $4.95m AAV)
Radek Faksa, C, Dallas Stars (one more year at $3.25m AAV)

Interesting take of the Winnipeg broadcasters, Richardson’s main job isn’t to try to win, its to build a process. |

Don't worry (?). Easier schedule coming up in a week or so. 7 of first 11 games in March against CBJ, ARI, ANA and SJS. - boilermaker100
The Hawks are the easier game. |

Vlasic is back to his normal self in this game so far. Great reads and quick smart decisions in every zone...... Another game where I think no way Phillips will not be an NHL Dman. Kid makes nice reads on loose pucks in all 3 zones.
Very solid 4 line showing for the Hawks thru 1 vs a very very good WPG squad who presents excellent structure. Tough club to play against. |

Its one dimension the Hawks need. They said the same thing about Dinky and this kid is bigger. |

Was talking to a USHL bud and mentioned Eiserman was falling in rankings cuz he's one dimensional, can only score. He quickly responded, "like Brett Hull"?!!..... Indeed. |

Michael Bunting, Carolina, 2 more years at 4.5M. Canes were rumored to have him on the block earlier this season.

Hawks started going when LR switched Foligno and Beauvillier, Beauvillier is better able to match Ehlers speed.
Maybe LR listened to StevefromGlencoe and made an in game adjustment. |

DeBrincat is a very good player in this league.
Debrincat is also not the upside you should be chasing with a top-4 pick. |
