i think just keeping the salary cap in the playoffs is more efficient, deadline acquisitions are salary retained players

Salaries are fully paid at the end of the regular season. The salary cap is for accounting for the revenue paid to players and ensuring the 50/50 HRR split. There is no reason to do that in the playoffs.

Are you and your colleagues calling your boss and asking him/her to lower your salaries so that it keeps all of you lean and hungry? Well that strategy might keep you guys hungry but not the kind of hungry you intended

isnt an easy fix is your only allowed the salary cap max even in the playoffs? So your only allowed to spend 83.5 even if you have 90 million in salary after injured player comes back
