Effort but no skill to bury it. - Hextall271
That's not what I'm seeing, they are hesitating to get the puck out front when there's a crowd, but have no issues forcing pucks to the point. Whether they can win the battle for the puck down low is another story.

Rangers just sitting back waiting for a Flyers mistake, the Flyers have to keep the pressure on, |

Yup, that is why if the Flyers get a great offer for their players they have to take it, |

Sucks to lose, but the Flyers were in it all game, but finishing was their issue. |

why does it have to be a great offer? This line of thinking will keep the flyers in the never ending cycle they are currently in the last decade.
glad Laughton had a strong game. cant trade a guy like that, he is all heart and soul... |

Played a hellava game. Ersson can't let in that first goal in a game this tight. Then a lucky goal by Herman Munster beats you. Tomorrow could be ugly cause they spent lots of energy in this one and the Penwhines are well rested. |

Flyers played a great game today, they deserved better. Couts hits the post, Frost whiffed on a great set up from Drysdale .. this is why the Flyers can't be afraid to trade anyone, they have good players but lack that closer. Frost, Farabee, Atkinson, Couts just not good enough scorers to make a difference. |

I think this is a zero point weekend with Petersen starting tomorrow. I’d go back to back with Ersson |

Why is the penalty kill so much better?
Because they use the tendency of teams on the PP to sit back and drop their defensive guard against them by being aggressive.
Why is the PP so bad?
Because they play it safe and don't want to adapt, instead following the basic X and O's of Rocky

Laughton might bring back more than a late 1st round pick, and if I get it for him I send him and his rainbow tape packing |

Flyers brought it today. They deserved better. Didn’t that poster who always brings doom and gloom down on the Flyers say he was going to the game today? It’s gonna be tougher to bring the fire and brimstone after this effort.
