I doubt they get much from Boston. They lack quality draft picks the next 2 years and I don't see them trading Beecher or Lysell for Walker. Everything else is just more of the same that everyone has.

I wonder i wonder what we’d get. I’d play serious hardball with these teams and get another first.

I’m not quite as pessimistic as you…as long as they continue to play like this, and follow the plan of moving some more guys out for future assets I’ll stay this way.

No one's giving away poop. Walker will get you decent offers. If they don't trade him, they're not serious about a rebuild, IMO.

I think they will…it makes no sense to keep another RHD, when he’s played like this and is a UFA unless Risto gets healthy and someone desperate comes a calling.

I’m trying to keep an open mind with the new guys…I did the same with Hex and the same with Fletch until I grew tired of their flawed decisions…maybe he can surprise me.

If they continue to bring that effort once they have some talent get here, they could start to be dangerous. I can’t believe michkov is 3 years away if he ever comes. He’ll be 21 and we will have missed out on probably a couple year where he could be learning/ contributing.

some Gm's wont care about sy 2026 as they may not have job!!! this is where danny boy needs to think outside the box. Then maybe use those picks for something else

I have said for a while include a mid rd pick or what not if needed with a player to get the 1st. The % as we know are much greater with a 1st rd pick than others to be an nhl player. Rather have quality picks than quantity.

I agree, Vancouver is on a slide too. They could get back going but think it’s the safer bet. Colorado has been giving up a ton of goals all year, especially to good teams. Florida hung a bunch on them twice now

No way should the Flyers trade anyone. The way they’ve been playing the Coach/co GM would have a conniption if Briere deals guys.

A little food for thought for those that think the 11/7 format is archaic. Two other NHL teams have employed this method more than the Flyers and one of them is the Colorado Avs. Eh what? Not saying that I truly agree with it, but perhaps it's not as archaic as one thinks.
