Yes he does. - landros 2
think about that. a very good d pair for 1.8. I cant imagine you wont have teams lining up.
for arguments sake put them on a contenders 3rd pair, that is a deep deep d corp as both an easily move up short term. more so walker. |

too funny. wonder if scotty goes into a tailspin if traded? Not shocked he wants to stay. loves the country club.
walker laughton and seeler need to be traded at the deadline. you do that it is going in the right direction. - hello it's me 2050
If there was ever a guy that should absolutely be traded it’s Laughton. Nervously awaiting this trade deadline. |

A lot of 5'8" to 5' 10" players. - MJL
Denoyers was 4th or 5th and has him as a 4th liner......hitting on a guy, regardless if he's a 4th liner or role player, in the middle rounds is great but he cant be one of your top prospects |

Good decision starting Swayman, Colorado can’t defend, they aren’t going anywhere. |

his peak was last draft or the summer.
he will never get 43 points again. it is a simple case of diminished returns. he has been used less. I will believe it when I see if he is moved. |

Last time we were a highly rated prospect pool, was it not based on the depth of the prospect pool? With no real high talent. I’d rather Michkov skew the ranking knowing we have a great prospect. 3 firsts at least in the next couple drafts as well. |

I actually don’t think his stock has changed much since then. Especially since he’s been really good as of late, GMs still see that same player and he’s not being added to fill out a top 6 more so depth |

it def has changed, how much is the question. either way should have 100% sold high
him being under contract imo helps as he fills a role and spot so a team doesn't have to go looking again. |

as someone said yesterday and I agree with somewhat. I do not put a lot of stock in them.
having that 1 stud is better than the "Depth".
just something needs to be done to find 4th line and bottom pair guys at a minimum. flyers never win around the margins overall. |

I read it this morning.....if the Flyers are 6th with that slop, I cant imagine how bad the 20+ teams below them are or where they'd be without Michkov - THE BLACK HAND
It's a really good point. What does it say that the Flyers top two prospects are the two players they just drafted? Does not bode well IMO for the players in the third tier and lower. No wonder there is chatter about the Flyers extending Seeler and Walker. |

The Penguins have not played since Thursday while the Flyers laid it all on the ice yesterday against the Rangers, and had to travel after. Can the NHL be more obvious? It's disgusting! - jd250 Brutal scheduling by Buttman and his cohorts. Gotta give the Penwhines every advantage.

their ranking is very deceiving then obviously.
Those have a shot no doubt. After that a lot of huge question marks. Vital they get some productive nhl level players even if not stars. - hello it's me 2050
We have been here before. Under Hextall the Flyers had a very highly rated farm system and look where that go them. I will believe it when I see these players impacting the big club. As of right now, I don't see Briere rushing to get rid of any veterans to make room for these players. |

thought you said you loved flahr and his prior drafts? has that changed? picking MM or anyone of those other was a no brainer.
chatter is partly due to the fact they do not think they are far away ( middle of the rebuild they said) and the coach/co-GM only has a 4 year contract ( 2 years left after this). he don't care 5 years from now, though cant wait until he sign an ext |

Laughton needs to take his talent and rainbow tape elsewhere. The Flyers have so much of Laughton in their lineup. We saw it first hand yesterday, the Flyers have good players that play hard but very few that can actually score a goal in a game like that. Frost misses an open net, Farabee does not even get a shot on a break-away, Sanheim muffs a 2 on 0, Couts hits the post. They need to part with some of these players and keep drafting and hopefully hit on a player like Aho in the 2nd round, or TK late in the first, or Kucherov in the 3rd round. The Flyers are not going to win with this group no matter how hard they play. Tippet, TK, Poehling, Foerster and Couts are the group you build around now. |

I was on a Rags blog last night and actually talked to the main blogger. They gave much respect to the Flyguys and I said they aren't getting Laughts unless they give up their first rounder. This isn't a country club anymore. This team plays it's ass off, but you do you.

Bottom of the 3rd tier .. good skills, poor hockey IQ. They see him being a call-up but nothing more because of his low IQ. |

No I haven't, I have seen no evidence that Briere or Jones have gone against their word. Until I do, I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. |

The Flyers aren’t looking to give Ristolainen away. He has rejuvenated his career in Philly and as TFP’s Anthony Di Marco has reported, Flyers GM Danny Briere was taking calls and seems to be willing to retain 25%-35% of his contract. The Flyers want a first-round pick as part of the return if they are retaining and such a move may be more likely to occur in the off-season given how Ristolainen’s season may be in jeopardy due to injury.

lol that is funny as hell. Wonder how much they paid this guy for that write up.
odd they do not have seeler on there unless I missed it |

I would rather see Michkov skewing the rankings in a Flyers or Phantoms jersey. I am still very queasy about his situation. |
