There might be a few Rangers fans in the building, just sayin.

on tv it seemed like a lot. Honestly we are 60 games in. Get behind these guys. This is what I always think of Philly. Getting behind your team especially when they are the underdogs overachieving

Btw I’m not talking about the people who are here. You guys obviously care. I’m just speaking in general. When I was there a couple times in 2010 I went back to Toronto and bragged how passionate the Flyer fans were compared to Toronto. Just sad.

I live in Toronto, believe me even after 20 years of disappointing hockey they still support the team and show up. Canadian Flyer fans just different than the ones who actually live in philly.

The Flyers have sucked for quite awhile and they still played to 90% capacity last year. Go puck yourself!!!

Buddy, there are 1000 or more Rangers fans in the building. Stop sniveling and watch the game, it’s a good one.

I’m not feeling the hatred. Maybe more so the second period than the first.

I don’t know how many of you watched the Frank Servaralli episode for Nasty Knuckles. This isn’t pointed directly at Frost but I thought he made a great point about Frost, which was lack of fire. Once Frost pushed Torts back and had a big game against Arizona, I think things are dipping in Frost’s favor. With this said, where is the fire by our top guns right now? Laughton maybe, Seeler too but I’m not feeling it from Tippett, Couturier or Frost right now. You know TK would be mixing things up.

This team needs an elite goal scorer so badly.
- MBFlyerfan

The question is how many elite goal scorers are in the league and what makes someone an elite goal scorer?

Are we talking about Matthews, Pastrnak, MacKinnon elite or are we talking Reinhart or Hyman type that are having good seasons?

You’re a (frank)ing idiot if you think the atmosphere has been the same over the last few years. Go back and ask your mommy for milk .

Ersson made a great save prior to the goal, but he has to stop that goal. No real traffic in front. Those type of goals in games like this are game losers.

I think the players backed in a bit and maybe he was screened but I’ll have to watch it again. If it wasn’t screened I’d agree.

Actually I did listen to the podcast and I agree 100% with Servaralli. Comments like "lack of fire" can be said in many different ways, but I've noticed Frost plays his best when he is aggressive. Now even aggressive can be taken in different ways, but I am referring to when he is aggressive with the puck and skating in to areas that are not completely open. Also when he is aggressive making plays instead of holding onto the puck waiting for plays to develop, but also knowing when to wait.

The same can be said about Tippett. When he takes that puck, uses his legs and drives he can be a force and that is what I believe what changed with his game.

Frost had a very strong first period. The Flyers had 9 of their 14 scoring chances when Frost was on the ice.
- MJL

Not because of Frost, but because of who is he playing with.

Exactly!

I’m loving that they’re sticking to the game plan but right now I’d like to see both Frost and Tippett take things into their own hands. I think Farabee is a little better at it than both.

Not a great one….but he’s still be really good today…unfortunately the guy at the other end is going to be tough to beat.

Clearly high stick...I don't see the double minor
- Glak18

I don't understand how that is not a follow through .. it was a bouncing puck and Haths swatted at it. Maybe 2 minutes, but absolutely not 4 there IMO.

Unfortunately, I doubt we’re gonna tie things up. Not very many clean looks at the net, even if we are outshooting them.

I don’t think we’ll get one on him today. As I said before the game. Without tk, Ersson would have to be perfect.
