What I was saying is Hughes having a sub par performance with stats like that says a lot about the player. I was commenting on the player, not the game he had. I actually didnt watch the game so I had no argument to make on how he looked on the ice.

A bad game for him and a bad game for an average d man is going to look a lot different when it comes to basic stats at the end of a game. It's quite remarkable.
