I think in previous years Lindholm was healthier than Monahan and they are not the same type of players. This year they are pretty equal. The price near the same but the parts were different in the two trades. I don't think you can come up with a who won which trade till the teams are eliminated in the playoffs.

He has had better scoring numbers every season since leaving Van including multiple seasons where scored more than 10 goals. He left here a minus player and been a plus every season since. Canucks were a bottom feeder back then. Not now...

I like the fit for the 4rth line and the cap hit is small. He has playoff experience. If the Canucks lose a C to injury for the playoffs, and Blue gets moved up, I'll take Dowd's 26 playoff games centering the 4rth line over Aman's zero, Lafferty's 10... It's a bottom 6 depth move. Probably could be done for a late pick and a redundant young player.

I'll retract it and call him a big forward. Although I have seen him use his size around the net against the Canucks over the years. So there are power forward qualities in his game while some other boxes are not checked.
