Heard this about Tage and Mitts at several points the last few years also.
I’m not sitting here saying Krebs is going to turn into a high end forward, but it’s not a huge grandstand to think the guy can be a useful middle 6 forward.
I’m all for moving him in a deal for a d-man, but I would not be surprised if he went on to have success with another organization.

This is a whole lotta word salad to say he might be good or he might not.
Tage and Mitts at least showed flashes of elite playmaking or scoring ability.
Krebs shows flashes of tenacity and good passing once in a while. |

I think the role he is in now as a 3C is the exact role he fits in and the points will come as long as the impacts remain there.
Some have closed the door on him, I have not.

He's showed it pretty consistently since being moved away from Okposo and Girgs. Are you willing to give him time to prove that he can hack a 3rd line roll or are you just ready to move on? Seems like you're not a big fan of his (that may be a false perception of mine). |

Sabres have played back-to-back games once in January/Feb. 4 times coming in March.
Donnie lost it last night. Can he do enough to keep his job down the stretch? |

Fair. If he is moved and has success ill be happy for him. We don't have time let alone roster spots to keep waiting for him

Interesting.
How long have you held Seasons for? - IonSabres
On and off for 12 years - nothing consistent. They pull me in, I get disgusted, I take a break.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
Was here for the last two when I thought we had promise. Such is life, wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills up faster. |

Could actually be just what the Doctor ordered for the Sabres. - Buff36
What a dream that would be. If there is any organization that could pull it off pieces and money wise its the sabres
He had a no trade list I assume |

I’m not sure that I closed the door on Krebs.
I really liked the guy a lot last season
Do I blame Krebs for having an offseason and not living up to my expectations (12-15 goal scorer) with rat like tendencies.
He could be good, he’s 23 years old, the book is not closed.
I do think he’s part of why we suck this season, more so then the same guys doing the same thing year after year statically |

No I wouldn't
Dahlin power and Thompson would be off limits for me. Plenty of pieces to get a deal done |

The cost being a ton is on the sabres side here
If there is any sliver of truth to him wanting out there is no excuse for him not to be a sabre, unless we are on a no trade list - ieetbred
He doesn't have a Clause in his contract until 25-26 I believe. |

23 is the average age for a forward to peak.
Does he have much trade value? Or is he just another hold on and hope?

According to the Athletic, Mitts market value is 6.7m per - lulags
Seems very fair (and doable) |

Not a big fan of his if he isn’t the 4C tbh.
There’s stuff to like but the goals for him and his linemates just aren’t there |

I really think he has trade value , maybe as part of a rebuild somewhere. Maybe nhl 2nd round value?
What’s your thoughts on Krebs as a current player? |

Skinner moved from the 4th line to the 1st line and went from single digit scoring to back to back 30+goal seasons...
Adams first season as a GM was one of the worst in the history of the game...and he measures performance and growth using that season as a base-line...therefore every player has had tremendous growth...the plan will be to continue to hold, Adams is too Chinese communist leader bald to adjust course.
